I want to reset but I want to transfer my bells/items by myself. So this is the best idea I could come up with.

You know how some places have consoles out for people to play. What if a store had 3ds/2ds with animal crossing in it. Do you think it'd b possible to transfer items/bells by yourself to the store's ACNL town. Then restart your town hopefully quickly and transfer the items/bells back into your account.

It'd prob take a couple of hours but that's fine. I doubt I'd get kicked out of the store for doing this.

Has anyone tried playing the console in stores... The ones where they let ppl play. Do you think this will work?

Probably not, because floor model games are usually demo versions and you can't access that sort of thing. Plus you'd probably be kicked out for loitering.

Why not ask someone here you will help you hold/transfer your items? There's a lot of nice people here you will help you. I had someone hold my items for days and I was able to pick up my items and bring them over to my second town. Same goes as for the other person who opened their town for me so I can drop my items and pick them up with another character in my second town.

I would but I just have too much stuff... It would take them too long and I'd feel really bad even if i were to compensate. The bells alone would take forever. I have around 150 mill. Ouuuu maybe I can find a friend who plays 3ds and see if I can borrow it for a day or so. :D

That's pretty smart… Maybe though ask a worker, don't wanna look like a weirdo… But aye, why not give it a shot?

So won't be able to connect even locally? :( :/
Maybe I should offer the manager coffee or something :/

Alrighty mission on. I'll first find a store with animal crossing cartridge in the console and see if I can connect locally. If they try to kick me out I'll say I'm trying to think if I want to buy or not and I have problems with decision making. And must be left alone stress free in order to decide... idk :/ or bribe them with candy/coffee...?

People help with this sort of thing all the time. Make a thread asking for help, I am sure you will get it!

It would be better if you ask a worker in the shop, especially because you say it would take longer. Maybe you know a little game shop and they allow you to transfer your items, the smaller the shop, the nicer the people who work there. But it would be the best to find someone here on TBT to help you tranfer.

This, 100%. As someone who used to work in a game store, if you hang out on the demo stuff for ages (especially without buying anything, lol, and constantly whipping out your own 3DS to go back and forth between the two) it's gonna look pretty suspicious. At the very least, you'd weird the workers out. Call first and ask them ahead of time if they have the game demo up, and if they do, ask if you'd be able to do transfers. I highly doubt it would be possible anyway because, in my experience, it's a demo and there wouldn't be any trading available in order to keep people from screwing with the town, writing gross letters, taking stuff, etc... but there's no harm in asking. I just emphasize the importance of asking in the first place, and explaining yourself rather than just trying to do it without permission.

Oh ok tysm for the explanation. That's great that someone who knows about the industry answered.

I was able to get a friend to lend me a 3ds but now need a 2nd copy of the game. Oh well.

I would ask people here but 150 million igb is 16 x 95 of 99k bags.... and that's just my money alone... I'd want to take my unorderables with me as well.

This is why I bought a 2nd copy of ACNL, my brother has a 3DS that he never uses so I put it to good use as my storage/cyling/tting town c:
Work's like a charm~

Or you can always buy a copy of ACNL for your friend and say it was a gift xD

My friend has 0 interest for the game so I'll be keeping the 2nd copy :D

Used copies of ACNL aren't too expensive on Amazon, if you decide to go that route. :)

Yup but can't order things by shipping..... parents.... haha. I posted online for in person trading. Worst comes to worst $35 on a new game isn't too bad. Def took longer to collect igb n items than making $35 so.... :/

How can you move the items if you don't know the stores FC?

Ask someone online to hold the items. Since you have a lot of bells that could be a bonus. They'll get a ABM machine when they store all your bells in the post office one.
To make it go faster cut all your trees down and start dumping bells all over the town. Invite the person in and get them to pick up the bells. Two people moving the bells goes faster. Make sure to save and continue a lot just in case Mr. Resetti shows up.
It took me 2.5 hours to move 100 million bells by myself.

Oh tysm for letting me know how long it took and dang that is so long.
I would ask for someone to hold onto the items and bells but its just much less of a hassle for me for huge transfers...
And too much dancing around of you online? free to trade? no? tom? oh now I am... Dang it just missed you... etc...
