Trying for gold HHA share how you did it...

Hi friends,
I have been working on trying to get 150,000 points to earn the gold HHA trophy but haven't gotten it yet. I was hoping that those of you that have, would be willing to share how you did it. Maybe post photos of the rooms in your house to give me some ideas. I have complete sets in all colors for Rattan, Imperial, Antique, Cute, but not everything for the diner set. At first I was trying to also have a nice looking house but now I am not as concerned with the look just getting the points. I will remake my house after I get the gold trophy. I have all the rest of the HHA trophies. I also have all the bunny day stuff and lots of the DIY recipes but not all of them.

I break 200k easily with a mixture of set items/color theme/fengshui

Fengshui = yellow items on the left, red on the right, green on the bottom etc, try Googling it. And items like lucky cat, garden gnomes give additional points

Literally every wall item on the walls. Crammed as much furniture as I could into the room while not blocking access to chairs or interactive objects. Nothing dropped on the floor. Fengshui (yellow on the left two columns, red on the right two, green on the bottom two rows). Every rug down that I can Tetris to fit into every room. Rare items (event items or Flick models). My house looks like a junk shop but I hit it without trying too hard.

So using only one furniture set in a room is not important? I had my bedroom with only blue cute items plus a few things on the walls such as KK music.

I have 268k points currently

I wasn't really trying for the gold trophy it kind of just happened while I decorated to my taste.

I do have 3 rooms that I think greatly influenced my score.

- trophy room: has a lot of gold and celeste diy furniture items
- spooky basement: has a lot of genuine works of art
- music room: has a lot of expensive instruments and 81 unique kk albums displayed on the walls (the other albums are displayed elsewhere in the house)

I gold gold somehow by putting random stuff in the basement and using furniture sets.

Does the basement count? I have read different opinions on this, some saying basement doesn't and others saying it is counted.
