Trouble with wifi

my wii connects to my computer, the little notifier thing says so,

but it doesn't connect to the internet.

what should I do?

Are you using the little Nintendo USB Connector or whatever it's called... thing?

That's the worst choice anyone could make. <_< . I wouldn't rely on those guys, they know nothing about Nintendo Wi-Fi connectors.


Are you sure you entered the WEP key? Or if you have a Nintendo USB I would download it.

Oooh. That happens to me ALL THE TIME when I have to use one of those... (I have to use one at my dad's...) I have no idea how to fix it.. All I know is that it pretty much always works first thing in the morning, but usually when it stops working you can't get it to work until the next day. T_T

yeah sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesnt.

I even configure the settings on the wii, and its sooo random.

It may connect on the third or fourth try, or the tenth try...

The code on the router called key, you need it for the Wii I believe. So wait, you got the special nintendo USB or just a plain one?

Ah... then you should go with looking for the WEP key on the router, then type it in on Internet Settings. It should work.
