My avatar is transparent. (At least I think it is)

I used to have a transparent picture of Bowie as my avatar. To be honest, I prefer my avatars more colourful and bold. I can make an exception if the picture is good enough, but usually it just looks very bland.

Yeah transparent avatars are allowed ^^ It's probably better to upload them somewhere else like imgur or use a direct link to save reuploading them and running into file size errors etc. ~

They're a thing! Although some of my transparent images always load with a white background. Just a few specific images no idea why.

They are a thing. Just be sure you're uploading a PNG or GIF that is no larger than 100?100, or 150?100 if you have the avatar width extension.
