Transparency in avatars

If your avatar has a transparent background originally, will it be transparent (Aka turn the same color as the background) or just turn white?

the avatar of marshal i have right now was originally a transparent image, but after uploading it the background turned white

just make sure it's already properly resized, and you should be good

If it's a PNG and it's the right size, then the background will turn the same color as the surrounding beige color.
