if they release an animal crossing for switch (which if they dont....oh..mygodjfh) would you transfer your new leaf data or start new? i feel like id want to transfer my stuff..
Whenever I do get a switch, I'd probably start anew. I just feel like it's more fresh and fun. You know all the rules, the general gist, so it's not exactly a pain in the ass.
I just find experiencing a new version of a series all nooby again makes the adventure!
Depends if they make a switch game and if they do, whether they will allow a link between it and acnl - Nintendo may not.
We have the mobile ac game coming out sometime? And its thought that that will be linked to an ac switch game (if there is one).
When accf came out they allowed you to start the game with your character from acww - and you brought it over with its catalog (no items or bells, just the catalog)
- I took up this offer - it was very useful to have a good catalog at the beginning of the game.
Meant I didn't have to trade for items.
So I would do the same if similar came out between acnl & a switch game.
Depends on what you could transfer. Getting 100% on the catalog again would be a huge nuisance. I would probably transfer and then change the things I wanted.
I don't even think transferring data from an older game to a new game would be possible anyway, I think I remember people asking if they could transfer their WW or CF data to the 3DS and it was impossible because they were older systems/games, so I'm assuming it'll be the same for the Switch and the 3DS.
However, I would start anew anyway since it's a new game and I'd like to experience it properly without having a head start with bells and such. ^-^
Start new. I overall keep all my old town separate. Only one I didn't was wild world because I got rid of it after I paid off my house and Nook didn't give me anything like a jerk.
I feel like i'd start fresh. Otherwise there wouldn't be much point in buying the game for me, just to have the same town but on a different console. I'd might as well keep it on 3DS if that was the case imo. A fresh start is always nice to me, it makes the game more refreshing, and keeps it from getting stale. Maybe i'd transfer my character like the feature in city folk, but not the entire town.
i'd love to start anew!! i can still keep aoki, but i'd love to have a new town too!!
if only i could work up the courage to ask my mom for a switch...
