I was under the assumption that the tree would give you a range of bells depending on the phase. (For example, 100-200 bells on the final phase.) I didn't know you could still get an abysmal amount of bells until I read the posts.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this event! I hope something like this returns in another event... Hint, hint.
