Town themes?

Any ideas for new town themes?

I personally like towns that are season themed, particularly the Autumn towns, have seen some lovely ones that even have villagers to match. Saw a lovely farm town the other day and another toy shop type of town with all kiddie designs on character houses and villagers like Pietro, Bob, Stitches, etc who have the same kind of house exteriors. Was very cute

I agree, I love visiting towns which are themed to a specific season! They are so simple but effective. I particularly like the winter and autumn towns!

Ahh, farm themed towns have always been my favorite. X3 I'm working on one right now. Admittedly, it's a bit tricky to do with PWPs, but at least getting farm based villagers is easy because they're mostly Tier 5, haha!

Maybe a color theme? I have all white flowers, and if I didn't love my current townies so much, I'd have all white villagers too. Any color works of course, but black or white are my cup of tea.

Ooh. Do you have the address to the farm themed town? I would love to see it. The toy one sounds cute too. I would love to see that as well, if you have it.

I like the ones that create a set atmosphere totally different from the game itself. Like how innocent the game is and then having a town that makes you scared or unsettling

I think it was this one 4700-4833-7080. I just search for dream addresses on google and go through them while I'm on this DS. Not 100% but the town name Pixley sounds familiar. If not I'll have another look for you a bit later, the one I visited was adorable.

Somebody on here has done a Pokemon themed town too, that was pretty impressive I remember but I haven't got the address for that one. And a while ago I visited a Dr Who town that had all the villagers that were somehow related to Dr Who. Was a brilliant idea

I'm too lazy to include villagers in my themes but I think it's so impressive when people do...like that town that was entirely sheep!

I also saw a really great Studio Ghibli themed town, it was so well done! And I agree that ones that clash with the cutesy-ness of the game, like Akira, or the one where you have to 'solve' a murder mystery, are amazing!

I know it's super basic, but I'm trying to go for a German forest type theme rn...like, I have cedars all over and holly bushes, very few fruit trees... I've also got a fairy ring out of famous mushrooms! I would call it fairytale but it makes people think of the princess-type stuff. Other than that, it's white - I've got all white flowers and my main house is all white. The other one is a medieval castle, with an armoury and stuff. When I've finally finished it and updated it all, I think I'm gonna leave the little red riding-hood themed stuff by the plaza for dream visitors~

My town theme is classic medieval. It has a tavern, peasant farm, cathedral, and castle. The rest of the town is a thick forest, like the black forest in germany. It has some illusions to old medieval folklore throughout the forest and houses, such as fairy circle, and keeping anything made of iron near cradles to keep fairies from stealing children away.

Since both my towns are sister towns, they will have small town feel to them, and that's simple and easy to do. But personally, I love the big city themed towns. They're so unique and awesome! c:
