Town name ideas?

So I plan to reset soon, hopefully within the next couple of hours.

Any ideas for a town name? I'm horrible at names. XD

Are there any fandoms that you like, that you could take a name from? Like, I love Pokemon so called my town after a Pokemon region xD

I considered calling my town Sinnoh after all my memories from PKMN Diamond. XD

Other than that... Uh... I kinda like Mario and Sonic. Don't know much about Zelda or Kingdom Hearts. Um... I'm trying to think of some series I've played other than stuff like Assass- OMG I SHOULD NAME MY TOWN SKYRIM XD

Yeah skyrim would be cool, or you could also name it after a town in skyrim

Pick something you're going to want to stick with. I've noticed people seem to get fed-up with silly names quite quickly.

The second of my two towns (Konohana) is named after one of the towns in Harvest Moon: A Tale of Two Towns. ^^ The other one I thought of on the fly.

I wouldn't name my town a location in a game. If you like skyrim then I'd recommend names like Whitewood (whiterun), Riftbury (Riften) etc

If I ever reset my town (unlikely to happen, I love my Olivine) then I would name it Faybrook. I don't know why, it's just pretty. But Olivine is perfect for me, I'm a Pokemon fan and my name's Jasmine so it's pretty perfect.

I like your style, I did exactly that, though I've been using my name I was going to use for my town for usernames everywhere, and now it's finally my town name. xD

I find it quite difficult to make up names off the top of my head, so I'll often take inspiration from locations in my favourite fantasy worlds :3
Although for NL I just straight out copied Sunspear from Westeros ... >.>

Whitewood is nine characters so it wouldn't fit anyway.

I'd say Dawnstar since there's probably more towns called Skryim than Dawnstar but that's only if you care about being more original
