I woke up this week to play got a message pop up so sad I spend a long time on my town I had good villagers and great of dresses and golden tools

It can happen, especially if your game is corrupted. It happens to someone I know. Like the pop up message is red and it says that they couldn't find the town or something like that. It's one of my biggest fears since I spent HOURS on my town /.\

I think I have a hotdog hat. If I do then you can have it. It would suck if you had any dreamies in your old town.

If you have the Eshop version it can be things like the SD card getting destroyed, that DS getting broken, along the all the usual things. I've even heard TTing can corrupt your game in very rare circumstances, although I don't know how true it is.

Yeah, if you need anything, just shoot me a PM and David it can happen randomly, but I would say damaged cartridge or hacked system/items in game

Tbh, I don't know. Ppl say that by hacking your game or by duping items it can increase the chance of having your game corrupted. But it can be out of sheer bad luck.

Oh, okey then. Well its a good thing that I've decided to stop TTing, even with villagers moving in or out and such.

Also, sometimes when visiting a hacked town (not via dream suite) it can also corrupt your town. Hacking can quite easily destroy your down.
