So, I want to move out two unwanted villagers (Maelle, Ren?e), both of which I might feel some remorse for doing so.
I want to have space for more villagers, but at the same time I might miss these villagers. I really can't decide. I didn't feel remorse for Chadder when he moved out. but when Fang moved, I almost killed myself (not really). I can't decide! Seriously, why does this game have so many charming characters that make us do such mind breaking decisions?!?!?!?!
Agh relatable. When I was the mayor of Senpai (a casual town where I just played the game how it was supposed to be and whatever) I was acquaintances with a hampster named Soleil (she was a starter villager). She was a snooty villager, and I thought she was really nice for a snooty villager, so I just talked with her a lot. Then, she asked to move out about a year after I created the town. I never really felt a connection with her, so I just said yes. I talked to her a lot within those 5 days and finally, I was on the friend stage. She wasn't as snooty to me, and she felt more like a normal villager, but then I realized she was moving out the day after. I talked to her as much as I could, but she just wouldn't suggest canceling her moveout. The day after she moved out, I put that wysteria PWP on her house plot and some hybrids inside. I really miss her
Everyone had had that feeling at some point I guess, but just think about it, do you have at least their pics? If that is the case, in my opinion I would let them go and recieve new ones, to get to know more villagers and be motivated to do errands for them to get their pic. Unless they are dreamies.
I felt this way when I made Annalise move. I felt so guilty I don't even know why. She isn't bad, I just wanted other villagers more. I got her photo so it is better than nothing. I see her in Happy Home Designer so I visit her there. XP
If you honestly think you'd feel so bad for loosing them - don't do it!
Just keep playing the game, eventually you might find yourself getting bored of them and wanting them to leave even more, do it then, that way you won't feel bad! but just doing it is risky, you don't want to do something that'll make you look at your town and gameplay in a worse light! I'd say go with waiting!
I'm currently experiencing this right now. I have been "forced" to move Poppy and Coco out, and the next one will be Flora. They have been in my town the longest, but I need space for dreamies and I want to see new faces. I managed to get Poppy adopted, so I didn't feel that bad, but unfortunately I had to void Coco and that really hurt me for some reason. They both sent me extremely beautiful letters and their pictures attached to them. I even took a screenshot of their last line of dialogue: "I hope someday, somewhere, we can meet again, doyoing/nutty."
I'm going to miss them, but I decided I'll keep their letters to remind me of them, they're super sweet letters. You can do the same
