I've been mildly interesting in the game at one point, but was taken aback by all the bad reviews, since the game looked good... And I didn't pick it up.

You should really stop trusting review sites... i mean, really, they've gone downhill so much... 1up just retracted a review of never winter nights... they gave it a 50/100 after the other guys gave it a 90-100/100.

all the places really do is follow each other around, i wouldn't be surprised if some don't even play the games they review.

honestly, you should be your own critic, they dont know what anyone likes, they know what they like, and apparently it should all involve guns, be replayable over and over again, and have the most breathtaking graphics ever, and no matter what happens, if the game is not final fantasy, the music automatically sucks, remember that, animal crossing has horrible music because its not exactly like final fantasies.
