Too many villagers own the rattan series

I personally believe a lot of the low tiers probably have the mass variety of furniture in their rooms. I saw rodney have the diner aesthetic and was a lil mad. I actually don't know what kid cat's one looks like because he's my og but i'm hoping it's not rattan! lol

oh i had him last month until i booted him out for marshal, his house was very nice despite him not being a fan favorite. so did the visitors who came to see him lol.
Soleil has almost all the pieces of the imperial set. Never saw any other villager with that many imperial pieces.

It still maintains that regal air from New Leaf, in my opinion! I actually think this layout is even better.

When I got Eugene I was really excited to see his interior design in his house... they have the whole diner set, jukebox, diner wall, vintage items... and when I walked in his house, it was an office meeting? How much more obvious was it to give him the diner set/!?

...huh, those actually seem to exactly mirror each other in a way that feels like it can’t be coincidental, so it makes me wonder if it’s on purpose the same way as chevre & nan’s houses?? but with those 2 i think it’s adorable because they have each other’s pictures and everything while with twiggy and robin i don’t see any obvious connections between them. that is kinda strange imo.
Yeah the starter house for Peppy characters was so much cuter and fit twiggy. But her real house design just seems empty and boring to me.
Really? I've barely come across any villagers with the Rattan set or at least most of the Rattan set. IIRC Mint is the only villager I had who used the Rattan set.

hm their japanese names are Pichiku and Pachiku maybe they just have an obvious connection in japanese
Wow that’s interesting, I never knew that. Time to go to some research. That’s pretty cool because I randomly got twiggy on an island and I liked her right away. Then I had a plot opened and robin randomly moved in. But I still think the houses could be designed better.

I think it's too much to expect over 300 villagers to have completely unique furniture sets. There's bound to be some repetition. That has always been the case.
I havent felt like the villager houses are generic or samey. They are very nicecly themed around the villagers personality.

woah, really? i had no idea so that’s actually pretty cute if they’re connected somehow! and now that i looked it up, it turns out “pichiku pachiku” is japan’s onomatopoeia for how birds sound so maybe that’s it haha.
i just wish the actual house design itself was better, i love chevre and nan’s mirrored houses for a lot of reasons including the fact that in my opinion they’re decently pretty and suit them well. robin and twiggy’s don’t to me but hey, i guess it’s all subjective!
