The petite girl was looking around in her paranoia, and just as she took out her phone and was about to call to make sure Ani was on her way, the brunette let out a small squeak and nearly jumped out of her skin as Ani approached her, Alee had to take a minute to calm down her racing heart, placing her palm against her chest.

"H-Hi! that was sudden... It's fine, I didn't wait too long, promise!" she reassured Ani with a smile, before stumbling closer to the other and pulling out a notebook from her pocket.

Alee then began to go over her notes as she talked to the other in a quiet voice so they wouldn't be overheard.
"The ghoul we're tracking is named Ketsueki... I got a recent call suggesting that he's close, that's why you were called for back up.. b-but honestly it would be a lot better if we didn't run into him, don't you think?" Alee timidly added, flipping a page as she continued her explanation to her partner.

"I heard he's ruthless and doesn't care much for his prey, yet his characteristics are unknown.. that's why we're here, to tail him and write down anything we learn, our main objective is to learn, and not engage." The petite girl nodded as she finished, putting away her notebook and patted her dress pocket to make sure it was safe, then turning to the other and awaiting Ani's answer.

I ran my hand through my white and black hair, my gray eye flashing as I spotted a lone teenage girl beside the entrance to an alleyway.
I left my mask on the roof, and jumped down silently- deciding to go about my favorite way of hunting- deception.
I approached her and put on my act, softening the look in my eyes.
"H-hey, do you know where the university is? I'm new here." I said, looking at my feet shyly.
She turned and pointed to the right.
"That way." she said, giving me a smile.
So gullible.. I thought as both my eyes turned ghoul red and I dashed in to bite her shoulder, enjoying her look of pure shock and terror- as well as her loud screams and the taste of her blood.

Kashu holds up the coin "Thinking outside of the box. I can flip heads or tails if I'd like. To win the no-win situation, you just change the rules of the game." He pulls out a marker and writes 'heads' on one side and 'tails' on the other. He flips the coin. Covering the result, he asks again.

(Whatever she says would be right)

"Heads again." I reply
"but really, isnt this more of a metaphor then training?"

 

[zelorm]

Kashu shrugs "I Like thinking outside of the box. When you put training into perspective, things like this could be. You know that scenario I gave you earlier? Change the rules. How would you win a no win situation?" He says, wiping the marker off the coin

"You outdo them with the skills you emphasized by hard training."
I growled grumpily.

 

[zelorm]

"Tell me, how do you make an egg stand on its tip, unsupported by anything other than itself?" He inquirers

 

[InfinityFlames]

"I don't know.. how is this even relevant?" I snapped, running my fingers through my hair agitatedly.

 

[zelorm]

"When you are put in a situation that is solutionless, you need to think 'outside of the box'." He repeats the egg question

 

[InfinityFlames]

I just shake my head.
"Seriously, I don't have the time or energy right now to deal with your little questions-
which wont help us in the war." I snap coldly

 

[zelorm]

"In the United States of America, the Americans did not defeat Britain by doing things the traditional way." He adjusts his tie again, "They all knew how Euros fought, and how it had worked in the past, why didn't they fight like Europeans?"

 

[InfinityFlames]

"They didn't because they didn't have the either the supplies or men to do so." I said curtly as I looked you up and down.
"I strongly feel as though your enemy would kill you first before you could even think of proper strategy"

 

[zelorm]

"They knew they were outmatched, so they fought like the Indes. They changed the game." Kashu stands up

I sighed.
"So- you're smart, but do you want to test your offensive skills?" I asked as I raised an eyebrow.

 

[zelorm]

He shrugs, "They definitely need improvement. I usually try to work on my strengths more than my weaknesses."

I ran a hand through my long hair.
"Come at me, I'm sure I can dodge." I said and take a step back

(oops it's I just realized I changed from past to present tense... fixed it)

Kashu throws the coin on the ground, in order to draw her attention to it.
At the same time, he kicks at her shin

I took a slight step back just in time.
"Distraction won't work on me. Let's just say training with ghoul investigators searching for you teaches
you to split your attention."
