To the Bell-Millionaires

What do you guys do with all your money? We won't include the buying of villagers here, I mean strictly in game. What costs so much money in the game that you spend millions?

Also, how did you make your first million?

I made my first million selling bugs from the island.
It took me a couple hours because I didn't know the tricks to it
But it helped me greatly and i was able to pay Nook for my first couple of house payments

Between the hours of 9p-5a there are rare bugs that can be caught and sold for about 6-12k a pop
Also sharks are very good to sell!!


Other people that I know of make their money selling turnips.
They buy a certain amount then go to people's towns where the buying rate is much higher than their own

I also made my first million selling bugs and fish from the island. I've been doing turnips with friends and since I've paid everything off the bells are just building up now.

I've brought art from the forums with some of it (not in game art, art from the Museum section here). I know you said strictly in game items but I've got everything now so nothing new to buy.

Made my first million selling bugs and sharks from the island. :') I still do it now but I stopped for a while cause it gets tiring doing it every night. Uh, I also try turnips when I feel like it. Most of the time I'm really unlucky with it though. ;A; Just spend my bells on building a lot of flower beds around my town for easy plot resetting! Other than that there's house expansions for my mayor and alts, buying expensive stuff from gracie's, stuff I still need for catalog.

I made my first million by selling TBT in exchange for in-game bells. I know some people would find that boring but I don't mind. I still catch fish and bugs but it's a relief when I don't have much time to play to be able to enjoy the little time I have decorating my town and hanging out with my villagers.

I spend it on completing my catalogue, decorating and expanding my house and the houses of side characters, decorating the houses of my villagers, PWPs, and things like that. PWPs are the biggest money drain, some of them can cost easily 200-300,000 so that adds up fast.

I made my first million by selling turnips, combined with catching bugs on the island. I spent it on upgrading my house, PWPs, and just normal stuff you could buy on Main Street.

I made my first million through selling bugs and sharks off the island. Today is my first time trying turnips so hoping I get some good returns.

I spent my first million by paying off my loans and also paying off PWPs.

if you combine it with sharks, red turnips, fossils, perfect fruit, wealthy town ordinance

I made my first 10 million and house upgrades through island bugs and sharks. I had decided to stop once I had 10M and all the house upgrades, because there wasn't much else I could spend bells on, and I didn't think I could stand to get up to 100M to get the badge. Then I came online. Prices for items, hybrids and villagers online are crazy, so I needed more bells. And it was easier to get them as well.

Made my first millian selling horned elephants and other rare bugs, made the next 10 by buying turnips and selling in other people's towns, now I usually just sell items I don't need on tbt and spent the money on PWP and expanting my alt's house, even thinking of making yet another character soon

i got my first million by selling fruits, fossils, fish and bugs. it took a while but i managed
now i spend my bells on pwp. i like to have a lot so i can easily place and demolish things without worrying about losing a lot of bells
i was able to pay off my entire home and my other player's home as well wooo

there is literally nothing I can buy in my town that's worth it anymore

so I spend it buying stuff off of other people

I made my first million by selling bugs/sharks from the island. I made 500K the first trip and another 500K the second, each trip took me 30minutes-ish. It's best to just do bugs, but I get bored easily and fishing for sharks keeps me on my tippy toes ^.^
Anyways, that only got me about 20M total since I didn't go to the island much. I got to almost 100M by selling villagers though.

What do I spend it on?! Buying things I need for my town like clovers(expensive). I also share the wealth with friends/family. There's nothing IN the game that is expensive, there's no way I'd know what to do with 100M in game. Most of the money is spent buying things online.^.^

Most likely from beetle- and shark- hunting.

Excluding buying villagers/things on here? I spend em on PWPs, and expanding my houses (rather important since they're schools and recreational buildings). The mortgages in this game are so frikkin high ;~;

I made my first million by helping people on Bell tree get wish list items I had in my game. I usually spend my money on upgrading my house, buying sets from Gracie, and paying off public work projects. ^^

I made my first million with a mix of selling bugs and selling my hybrids online. (Hybrids have been one of my main in-game productions since Wild World) I also use my bells to fund projects and buy new items (and also to dream and visit the island)

I made my first million by selling beetles from the island & my next 12 million by selling TBT bells.

I spent about 4 million on my house & about 3 million on PWP's & I'm saving the rest to use for turnips.

Got my first million from selling beetles/sharks from the island like most people, then started participating in the stalk market (sooo great when people post high buying prices every day). Aside from regularly doing the stalk market, the bells went towards upgrading my mayor's house and my 3 alts' houses, which I've yet to finish doing. I need to get back into turnips... or sell TBT, haha.

I buy everything in all the shops so I can catalog it. Then sell it or just give it away.
