I only watch a select few animes. It's not really all to surprising if you think about it.

sure, but haruhi was more or less a cultural phenomenon, the way i remember it.. once the english dub kicked in, of course. i hadn't heard of it either, past knowing the main character by face when it came out.

but eh.

But, I watched the first season in english, then I had to watch the rest in Japanese :L

I just think the story is a little odd. & it's weird how they all were in the SOS Brigade. I find that rare to all end up in the same place.

while each of the character's individual superiors are greater than haruhi apparently, there is possibly some kind of world outside.

at that point, it gets convoluted, but basically, they exist because haruhi wants them to. if haruhi was to learn she was a god, terrible things would happen, and as such they must all take care in her not learning she is a god.

or something like that.</div>the story is great, as are the characters. if you google up anime review sites, i'm pretty sure it'll be on someone's faves lists, depending on how old they are/how much animu they've watched. people have soft spots for gundam, y'know.

I don't get it. 24 tooks hours upon hours and hard, diligent work, along with awesome effects and...what have you. It's mind blowing. Anime, some bored Japanese guy just draws pictures and makes different scenes.
