Tips on finding sea critters faster?

So, um, I’ve been swimming around my island constantly for the last few hours looking for a vampire squid and gigas giant clam, but I’m not having very much luck... Does anyone have any tips on how to find them quicker? Like, what did you guys do to find sea critters? Did you go in and out of buildings to refresh a certain area? Or did you swim around constantly like I just did?

If You Dont Have Luck, What I Just Do Is Close And Reload The Game And Try Again And I Eventually Get It. Hope this helps

Pay attention to the bubbles. If they are bigger and the creature is faster than normal than you have a high chance of encounter those bigger sea creatures.

Look up videos showing the size of the creatures and their bubble patterns, that way you’re not wasting time trying to catch everything. Other than that, it’s just lots of swimming around and hope you get lucky.
