Tips for Shiny Hunting

What are some good ways to find shinies?
I've tried breeding, and using the pokeradar yet I haven't had any luck.

What's your usual method for shiny hunting?

i dont really try to find shinies, i just encounter them doing my usual stuff (horde battles, unintentional masuda method). i found a shiny murkrow, and hatched shiny feebas & swinub that way!

Well shiny fishing is easy, but I don't particularly like it. I've encountered several shinies in horde battles. Just keep using Sweet Scent and you'll eventually find one.

You might wanna edit those rates Jake, Since it's 1/4,096 instead of 1/8,192 for Shinies in the basic method as your thing states.

ye i know they changed it for gen 6 but i made that before the shiny rate was announced to be lower and i am too lazy to edit lol
