So, my first town, that I made on the release, was bad. I kept it for 2 months, without tting. My second town was 'perfect' kept it for atleast 5 months without tting. But, after that I just can't keep a town for atleast a week without tting. So I need advice, how can I quit tting? A friend said: don't play all the time. Uhm, it's summer vacation it's hard to stop playing. So, I wanna reset again. I don't wan to tt, but it's hard to quit.

Step one: plant lots of flowers, so you can get TBT from them later. Water them. Grow hybrids from them. Do this every day. But don't get Beautiful Town.
Step two: Sell the the hybrids for a little bit of TBT, way below the going rate. You aren't doing it to make money.
Step three: Do this daily. Only take enough time to water the flowers and do very basic chores like collecting ores and such. Limit the time you spend on it.

Do this for a week. Tell me how it goes.

TTing isn't cheating. If it was, there wouldn't be an option in the game to set the time when you start up your town. Also there's the fact that villagers will sometimes come to you and say that they've heard you're "some kind of time traveller". It's just a play style and honestly, there aren't even any major cons to it.

If you're wanting to quit TTing because a friend told you so, don't. Play it how you want to play it. It's your game. If you don't want to TT because it feels like cheating, don't do it. It's your game and you can play it however you see fit.

This pretty much ^^
And i do tt every now and then to collect bush starts, grow hybrids, plot reset ect. If nintendo didnt want us to tt they'd have someone like resetti to have a go at you everytime you did! And again no option to tt

Some people need to tt because they play really late/early in the day so they essentially miss everything, i dont think tt'ing is cheating at all just play the game how you want!

Edited out everything that I previously said.

Anyway, if you're having that big of an issue, why don't you just reset and do the one-year challenge? TTing is disallowed, and you have to stick with that town for at least one whole year. I think that should solve many, if not all, of the issues that you've stated on the first post.
