Hello! I hope someone can help me with this...

Grucho was in boxes yesterday and I visited another town and invited Whitney the wolf to move in (I have 9 villagers with her). Now I wanted to get Grucho to move to a friends town but completely forgot... but I so wanna keep this grumpy little bear! It is now the next day...

My question: can I timetravel backwards, friend comes over to get him to move to his town and still get Whitney without problems? Or is he already moved out...? Have not started the game again yet.

When a villager moves out, you cannot TT backwards to get them again. If he was in boxes yesterday he is gone today.

Time travelling backwards counts as a day. So he's gone.
You could attempt to wifi with your friend and if he's still in the void there's a chance he'll move into their town.

But be aware that going to someone else's town or having a 10th villager move into your town will clear your void. So you should invite your friend over first opportunity you have.

As long as you do not start up your game in any way, it is safe to travel backwards.

Actually you can go back, just make sure the time you set the clock at is after the last time you played. If you haven't started the game up since yesterday, you can go back to yesterday no problems just make sure it's later on in the day or it will count as going forward a day!

1. Groucho is in Boxes.
2. Invite Whitney in.
3. Game saves. Quit before a new day starts.
4. Next day comes.
5. Remember Groucho.
6. Time Travel Backwards and start up game.
