I was just curious, do you guys time travel a whole lot? I try not to. There's something satisfying about doing everything without time travel. Sometimes if it's a little later in the evening, I will time travel to an earlier time int eh day, but I never go forward entire DAYS. I was wondering if you guys do a whole lot? Is it useful? Do you ever worry your villagers will move?

See, when I first got AC new leaf, I had Bluebear. He's my favorite bear! But I accidentally set it up a year behind, so I updated the dates because, well, I wanted the dates to be accurate. But then he moved and I suppose that's a huge time leap, so it's to be expected. But I've been itching to time travel, just because i want to get more public works projects done. What do you think? Should I time travel?

I never Time Travel. Seems that most people on TBT do, and I don't judge them, but I've never wanted to. For me personally it feels more immersive, like a second life, when time flows in Animal Crossing exactly as it does in the real world.

Also it's more gratifying to me when I look at my achievements and think about how I accomplished them day by day with patience.

I've considered time-traveling so that I have more things to do in an actual day but I can't get myself to do it cause I'm really OCD when it comes to video games and time-traveling would mess up the natural flow of time in the game and I just won't be able to stand it :/

See, in worried about villagers moving and imntrying to grow hybrid flowers. But maybe it would be okay to time travel a day in advance?

(Im being a but indecisive here)

Yep, once I finish my town and get caught up to the current date (I'm in november 2013 rn) I'll probably stop TTing so much and take things as they come.

I Time Traveled, but starting today, I decided to stop. I mostly did this to rebuild town after I restarted but still keep the same founding date. ^^

That's how I did it. Never lost a villager that way. ^^'

I TT fairly often. I grow hybrid flowers and I don't particularly care about times matching up or dates or whatever-- It just isn't a big deal to me.

If you're worried about losing villagers, you mostly just have to make sure you talk to the ones you don't want to move out, or wait around and see who pings you. It works for me, for the most part.

I'm not huge into TTing no. I'll do it if I'm plot resetting like a lazy butt and need to stay on one day, if I took a break for a few days and don't want anything to change, or if I need to get a villager out to move a dreamie in...but then I TT back to the present xD

How are they funny to you? They're legitimate reasons to not want to TT, if you ask me.
^^this. everyones play style is different. I don't think it's stupid to TT or not TT. I choose to avoid it when possible, others find it fits their play style better to TT. No one is wrong.

It kinda breaks the charm. I just wish there was more stuff to do, and you are so limited. If I finish paying off a PWP, I should be able to start on the next one.

I TT when I get pissed off at the game, though, I TT right back to the correct date, however.

ive been a tter in all my towns, its so boring playing as just 1 day. as dreamy said, if i pay off a pwp, i cant stArt another one. i <3 tting so much i bought another copy just for it. my town has perf ordinance and i get 0-2 weeds each week and no dead flowers. i say lets polute the wrld with time traveling!!

I used to time travel excessively, but since I got my museum filled and the projects in the right order, I no longer time travel.

Right now I'm TTing to try and cycle through villagers safely without losing any dreamies. I lost one, but not from TTing. Normally, I don't TT at all.

I normally play day by day when I'm busy and I just want to check up on things and complete my museum. When I have time to sit down and play I'll usually skip around. I just started a new town so I've been TTing when I can to speed up the process... I'm a little impatient in the beginning.

if im playing im tt'ing
if im not playing im not tt'ing
does that count.... LOL
basically whatever im doing requires time travel because i provide supplies....which only come if you time travel.....
you surely know what i mean ^______^
+anything done that does not require tting ive already done so i dont need to do it again->blah->time spent elsewhere :c

When I first got the game I didn't TT at all, but I'd just placed my PWP with no thought. I still kinda regret where I put my cafe, but it can't be changed now.
I started TT to remove all of my PWP, and chop down all of my trees. Then I TT to place my PWP with more thought, my town is how I like it now, so I don't TT anymore. Unless I've forgotten to go on the game, then I might TT so I don't miss out.
I always talked to my villagers though, to make sure I didn't lose anyone. But I did lose Diana, but I wasn't to beat up about it. She had been a random move in, and I liked her ok but she wasn't a dreamie..
On my second game though, I do TT a lot. Mostly to try and get hybrids, and to try and get certain villagers to move.
