Time Travelling Help!

Hello! I need some help from frequent TTers, being as I've never TTed before and am extremely slightly terrified.

This is my plan:
I've already adopted Nana today (the 10th).
1. TT to the 11th to plot reset her house.
2. TT to the 13th, when Winnie will be in boxes and find her a new home.
3. TT to the 14th, adopt Savannah.
4. TT to the 15th, plot reset Savannah.
5. TT back to the 10th.

Is there any chance of someone else moving out besides Winnie? Is the any chance of Nana or Savannah not moving in? Are there any steps I can skip (e.g. plot resetting Nana on the 13th, thus skipping step 2, or plot resetting Savannah on the 10th, thus skipping step 4)? I'm a total noob when it comes to TTing. I'll take a crack at addressing your concerns, I've done quite a bit of TT forward and back and resetting... Its hard because I'm not sure how much you follow tt stuff, but you seem to have a pretty good grasp of it so I think this will make sense... I hope.

You only need to plot reset if you want to, you can skip it if you don't care where they end up when they move in, but if you care you absolutely should not skip the step. The trouble is that villagers don't ALWAYS move in the next day after you ask them to. I watched a friend of mine today adopt Portia, and plot reset day by day for a weeks worth of days before giving up on her moving in, loading the following day with an established character to find Portia's house plot plopped down in front of her retail... Personally I have never had it take more than three days for a villager to move in, and that was from the campsite, usually when I ask someone from another town they're there the next day but there's no guarantee.

In theory, IF Nana moves in on the 11th and Winnie moves out on the 13th, you should be safe to adopt Savannah on the 14th and then move her in and go back. Resetting for Nana you may be able to sort of force her to move in by resetting the 11th til you get her house plot, I think the problem my friend was running into was she just kept moving ahead, if she kept quitting without saving an just starting over she may have had a better time.
If it was me, and I got through Nana moving in and Winnie moving out, I'd reset for Savannah's plot til i was happy, then instead of playing her normal move in day (the 15th) I'd TT back to real time as my next day since you shouldn't have anyone planning to move the day someone moves in, and if you do it should be early enough they'll still ping you.

This has been my personal experience, I can't promise that it is guaranteed, but I've plot reset many many times and also tt'ed lots of villagers out and in, and I used to slow cycle so I've had a bit of experience with all these things. From the timeline you outlined you should be ok as long as you stick to it. It might be a good idea to play the 12th anyway just to talk to villagers for rumors and check for pings just in case, no one should be trying to move if you already have a villager planning it, but I tend to be over careful.

No. But if you want to make absolutely sure you can talk to everyone before TTing back to the 10th.

They should both move in as long as you invite them on separate days as listed in your plan.

You should be able to plot reset for Nana on 13th no problem. If you're not sure: go into Winnie's house while plot resetting if she is in boxes then keep plot resetting for Nana. As for Savanna: yeah, you should be able to plot reset on the 10th
