Time traveling question

So I want to TT back a few months and I don't want to lose any of my villagers I heard if I do this correctly the game will only count is as 1 day? I just said no to Frita to move out so is it safe for me to TT back? Or do I have to do something else to make sure no one moves out. Thank you!

If you said no to someone moving, then it's safe to TT forward or backwards. If you TT backwards, it only counts as one day so you'll still be fine.

When you have to TT forward, always make sure to find someone who is moving and then say no. Then it will be safe to TT forward.
