Im really considering time travelling because I hate waiting... what are the consequences?
A lot of weeds, villagers moved, buildings removed, trees wilted, flowers wilted, the list goes on
If you TT day by day, things won't be difficult much. All I know is you won't be able to participate in the stalk market (turnips) unless you take them to another town. If you water your flowers everyday before changing the date they won't wilt. Unless you have beautiful which will have you watering them less.
I also think certain characters don't show up if you TT. Like Phineas? I'm not too sure about that part though.
One thing you need to watch for is that villagers can move out without you knowing until the day they have their things in boxes, in which case there is no stopping them
so I should visut them everytime I time travel to stop them?
If you time travel day by day, then yes if you really like your villagers.
Well, if you simply play the game at an accelerated pace (day by day, changing the date when you're 'done' with the current day), then everything works out just the same.
Although you may notice that villagers move out every few days. It's pretty annoying.
IMO, If you TT you will get bored of the game so much faster, also you won?t feel the excitement of waking up and find out what new happened.
I ended up Time Travelling in Wild World, I regret it, I?m never gonna TT in new leaf, unless I?m trading a villager that I really want and one of my villagers are going to move out soon, but I would not check the shops or anything like that then.
