I just want to stress again that you MUST be able to pick him up first.....do you currently have 9 or less villagers counting Tia? Unless I'm missing something here......is it possible to pick up a villager when your 10th is in boxes? I've never tried it.

Oh, I'm getting plenty of pings....just not from him.

Try to locate his location, then do the trick, avoid all the other villagers (make sure they don't look at you or turn their heads to look at you), go up to Octavian. It might take a couple of times because he could ask for a catchphrase change. Another thing I learned is you can't keep pinging the same villager every time. Ususally they ping twice a day for me.

No offense, but I'm very good at cycling villagers in and out of my 3 towns. Someone pings to move approximately every 5 days...that's how it works. And you can't change who that villager is. I have 9 other villagers who need to stay so it does take a little while to do this. If you can't wait, we'll just have to cancel the trade. It will happen in the next hour or 2....I can tell you that with complete certainty. But it's up to you to wait or not wait.

You could set the time back to 8am this morning. Just be very careful that the date stays the same.

I've got to stop cycling because something has come up in real life. I'm so sorry. I'm willing to try again in a few hours. If you want to keep Tia in boxes, you can do so by setting the time back hours. I completely understand if you don't want to do that. Octavian has given me his pic so he usually pings to move A LOT....this has been a crazy day. I've tted about 6 weeks total with not one ping from him to move. It has to be coming up soon. It's all up to you though. I'm sorry I couldn't make it happen faster.
