Hi.

Judging by the villager popularity list, Tia needs no introduction, but on the off chance I am wrong, here is more information about her: http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Tia

Tia is actually being offered by Arwen of Rivendell, a new member of this community. Since she is a new member and hasn't had time to accumulate ratings to inspire confidence in potential buyers, as a friend and more "established" member with several good ratings I post this auction on her behalf. I vouch for her trustworthiness; she has been one of the kindest and most generous members of the New Leaf community I have come across so far. For what my word is worth, you may check my own history at this forum and at GameFAQ, where I share the same user name.

That said, here are some details about the auction.

• Starting bid: 2 million bells.
  
• Buyout: 10 million bells.
  
• Arwen will meet the auction winner at her station and take them to Tia.
  
• They are free to use the ATM at her house or post office.
  
• Session will be ended after they confirm Tia is moving to their town.
  
• The auction will end this Tuesday morning at 11:30 AM Pacific Time. Please note that if I do not close the topic at the precise minute or second indicated, that does not mean a bid may be snuck in after the time indicated.
  
• After the auction has ended, I will close this topic, and direct Arwen to promptly contact the winner at this forum with further information.

Other potential bidders— You may keep bidding. If Snowtyke unfortunately cannot come up with the bells or changes his mind, or Arwen determines that a reasonable wait period has elapsed, the winner would default to whoever made the highest bid, which may include a rival buyout (i.e., someone else offering buyout). At this time, that means the winner would default to mayormars.
