I remember seeing an older post like this so sorry for being a broken record here but what are everyone's thoughts on Uchi Villagers? I scanned in Ursula because she looked friendly but her personality pisses me off. She annoyed the heck out of me when she made one of my dream Villagers Ozzie sad.She may be the 4th Uchi I want out now.What are your thoughts?
I felt the same way, at first anyway. I scanned in Deirdre and was immediately put off by her seemingly passive aggressive behavior. Her design seemed odd to me then too. Overall I was close to putting her out... but over time she really grew on me. She sort of inspires me now to be tough too, to stand up for myself and all that. I don't know exactly what changed--maybe those moments she lightens up really makes it worth it.
It took me a while to get used to the uchi personality.All of the other personality types are fairly well defined but to me,the uchis had a lot of gray areas.I played New Leaf for almost a year before I got a couple of uchis I really liked(Hazel and Diva).I also have Ursala but she's been a model citizen so far in my town.She never upsets the other villagers and is friendly with my mayor.
I loved Uchis from the beginning!
I never really thought they were blunt or mean espically if we're comparing them to how older Animal Crossing games were when it seemed like all villagers were always mad at something.

This. They can also be referred to as "he" by other villagers, which I found interesting. Tomboys rule. My only complaint is that there are so few of them and I don't like most of their designs. Muffy the sheep is pretty rad tho. I had Mira in my town and I liked her too.
i was just looking through the list of uchis trying to determine my dream villagers, honestly none of them really stand out to me but their personalities are rather endearing. they dont take any crap and when they're sweet it's very much worth it! i just wish there were cuter uchis, the cutest ones in my opinion are Shari and Renee
My favourite personality for sure. As brought up in this thread earlier, I don't see why people think they're mean. Compared to the older games (especially WW & GC) they're quite friendly. My favourites from the personality are Flo, Cherry and Rocket.
I'm not a huge fan on Uchis so far, as they seem to upset a lot of the other villagers. However, my perspective may be being soured by the fact that my Uchi is Tammy and I just don't like her in general.
Uchis are probably my favorite. Definitely tomboyish, and I imagine them speaking with a bronx accent. They'll playfully call you names, but would mean well. Heck, I'm sure that if you were legit harassed, they would step up to the plate for you, and tell the person to buzz off or they'll get belted. While they like to mess with you, they deeply care for you, and would stick up for you in any situation. I like that personality.
Even though their personality really can get a bit annoying and mean, I guess Uchi's are worth having in a town. I had 2 Uchi's and trust me, you should have them in your town. Well, that's for me, anyway. The good thing that I like about Uchi villagers are that when you get stung by a bee and go up to them, they will give you medicine for free! It's so cool! Especially when I get stung by bees more than once, it comes in handy because Timmy and Tommy only sell 1 piece of medicine per day. I used to have Fuchsia in my town, and I got stung by bees three times. On the third time, she told me to 'Bee careful!'
Compared to ACGC they're friendly.
If you make snooty villagers angry in GC they tell you you're a waste of space or air or something which is pretty funny.
