That’s exactly where I put my lighthouse! I love this idea of using the cars to create a forced perspective. There is a lot of fun to be had with this. Maybe the trophies from the house inspections could be used to create a small town. Thanks for sharing.

Anyone have any good ideas for what items can work as tiny models?

Beehives make good house/warehouses, and the Pocket Camp campers make good cars.

huge huge fan of the concept. Seen some amazing pictures of it. I feel like it tends to look better for picture moments though than for casual running around (though this isn't as big of an issue for these small beaches in the back). I've been catering my island more for my casual viewing pleasure rather than being super photogenic so don't know if I'd implement it personally.

I love it and think it looks great, but I won’t be making one on my own Island because I’m reluctant to use others’ ideas. It just bothers me too much that I didn’t come up with the concept myself.

aah... honestly, I have a hard time telling it's supposed to look far away. It just looks like tiny cars two feet away from the viewer to me... But it is a really neat idea! I think it's cool anyway.
