Thoughts about the "New Camping"

In the screenshots and videos, the area looks like it's surrounded by cliffs, which is not where the bench since its by the sea. My guess is that it's located in an area beyond the museum.

Maybe, but they would have to make this area bigger, because this camping would never fit... It could also be on other side, where there is the museum, if they push the cliff to get more space. :)
 
I kind of hate that I have to buy the amiibo reader thing to have access to this, but I guess that's business
 
It looks pretty neat. With so many new villagers I really wish the update increased the villager cap! So unless one of the villagers from the cards is amazingly adorable, I probably won't get them. I wonder if trading the new villagers will work the same way as the current ones?
 
Uhm. It's not that hard to just expand the Main Street. To simplify the work it's probably gonna be done the same way HHA street pass works, a hippie dog standing - maybe - in front of the entrance in the cliff to the camp site next to the museum.

I'm pretty happy what we know but just want to know more... I personally collect the cards from GS I get a pack when ever I go on and a buy a game and have extra $.

they totally meant to do that right, it sounds like more than just an amiibo update.
 
So, are the 50 new villagers not regular villagers? I don't exactly get the mobile home thing. Do mobile home villagers live in the camping area permanently? Or do we not have the info on this yet?

Sorry, I just find it very confusing.

Also yes I really hope we get an increased villager cap, I have so many dreamies and this is just gonna make it worse for me.
 
This looks very interesting and I will be curious to see where exactly the vans are going to go as well. As someone else stated, it seems like it is not going to be in the main town, as the borders do not match the edges of a town. My fiance is super excited to get Vanessa in his town and I'll be patiently awaiting the Animal Crossing-specific mini Nintendo Direct later this fall. I'm really hoping that they will allow us to either get all the HHD items as dlc, or maybe have them obtainable from these new villager cards!
 
That hippie-dog's ears look kind of like Isabelle and Digby's... could it be their far out daddy-o?
