This the first time ever I've wanted to kill a cat.

So my neighbours in the next building have, it seems, taken in a stray cat yesterday evening. Exept they left her on the balcony. And she is in heat. SHE HAS NOT STOPPED MEOWING ALL NIGHT AND THIS MORNING.
I hardly got any sleep, and I bet all my neighbours are going to blame my two cats who are never loud because they are spayed... Ugh I really hope they get her to a shelter or at least get her fixed, this is a nightmare.
I was already pissed off by the little dog next door who goes crazy and barks for no reason all the time, but the constant meowing of the cat in heat is way worse...

So, do your neighbours have annoying animals or loud habits? Have you ever wanted to kill someone's pet? What keeps you from sleeping at night?

My neighbours have 5 children. Two of them are newborns.

Also they have a dog that doesn't stop barking.

Don't ask me how I sleep at night.

I stay up too late so I always hear the birds outside chirping when I decide to go to bed. I sleep with ear plugs in nowadays.

I hear birds too, we have some that sing at night here. They don't bother me that much though.
Ah good point, maybe I should get ear plug. I'm sick of being sleep deprived all the time, since I already have pretty short nights.

Honestly, my most recent cat named Oreo. No other cat has pissed me off more than she has. You know how some really pretty girls(& guys I guess) are really stuck up & bratty? THAT WAS OREO. She was the cutest cat ever, but she was horrible. Everyday I'd come home to the whole house destroyed. Her litter box was tipped over every time, BROKEN LAMPS(-.-'), plus she'd pee all over my blankets. Then one day she was in heat. She'd literally meow so loud that she'd attract other stray cats that would meow back. & she'd do this in the middle of the night. Then one day I let her outside so she would shut up, & she never came back. This is pretty bad to say, but I'm sort of glad. I love animals but omg she was so horrible. So I know your pain lol.

My mom's, naturally. She had made multiple appointments to get my cat spayed, but canceled them every time because she was too busy with her boyfriend. Not my fault that I have an irresponsible mother, ha.

The title bothers me. Just because I get so touchy with animals.

I'm really lenient on animals. I don't care. My cat is super vocal and causes destruction. My dog barks like crazy when people come home, like most dogs. I'm cool with people's loud pets. But I also lived in an apartment with really thin walls. I could hear everything my neighbors did. The parking lot noise carried up and you could hear all that, too. After a point it stops bugging you and you stop caring that your neighbors can hear you.

My cat Jasper is quite fat and annoying. He's started spraying around the house including in my room! I've only caught him in the act once but I suspect he does it more. We have him neutered, but I suspect he's spraying because we got a new cat whom he doesn't seem to like very much. He was fine before, but now he's all gross ughhhhh

They only took her in yesterday evening and it's early morning. I'm leaving them the day to see if they get her to a shelter or at least to the vet. If it goes on though they'll hear from me haha. The problem is that I know these people, they don't know a thing about animals and they'll probably just keep putting her out on the balcony while she's loud. Which isn't good for either the surrounding people or the cat.

Dang, that has to be so annoying ><. I've never experienced that with a cat, but I have my fair share of annoyance with my sis-in-law's dogs. She spoils them too much, and they bark AT EVERYTHING. They had neighbor complaints, but they don't care. And is it really necessary to have 3 dogs? Sigh, I get if you're a pet lover, but it just seems too many. Especially since she's never home, so why have so many if you can't be home to care for them, then complain when they pee and poo everywhere >_<. The one dog that barks the most, also digs through the garbage. He knows its wrong too because you don't even have to look mad; as soon as you catch him in the act, he runs under the table. He never learns >_>.

There used to be this cute, adorable pitbul someone had in the block. But at night, this thing kept howling and barking. I never got sleep. It was annoying.

Also, there are these two stray cats that always roam the street. Mainly, in front of my home. They tear up garbage bags (my faster got a ticket once because of them) and fight in the yards of people's homes. But it's sad, too. One is a mother that lost all of her children because of animal control, and the other was an abused cat. I'm so torn.

tbch ive never been bothered by animal noises outside? birds chirping me doesnt bother me. I have really good hearing and my family listens to everything at loud af volume so I guess ive gotten used to blocking out noise while trying to sleep? I can even sleep through fire alarm needs new batteries beeps
