This the first time ever I've wanted to kill a cat.

My past history with cats is quite dodgy. I...

This is a disturbing secret, but when i was 3, a kitten (which was the kitten of one of my mums cats, as the cat got pregnant about a week before neutering was supposed to happen) climbed onto me. I wanted it off, so i shaked a bit but he stayed on. The kitten jumped off while i was getting up to get my mum and fell.

The kitten died.

Needless to say i am more careful with animals, and will never kill one again (although this was unintentional, so i didnt get in trouble. Plus i was 3, so not much could be done). My mum has 2 cats, and while one of them is awesome,

While i love it now as its not as mean as it used to be, it will scratch you if you put your hand anywhere near its stomach or leg or tail. It likes being pet on the head, but scratches you otherwise. Ironically, the only time it wanted attention (rubbing on me and clambering over me) was when i was doing something for my little brother. When i was younger, if you walked past it, it would attack you violently.

Another animal i had a love hate relationship with... (not a cat)

This fellow^
I saw this rooster hatch, and he was cute when he was younger. As he grew older, he became more territorial and if i tried to feed any other chickens, he would try to attack me. Used to hate him for that. Turns out it was because he couldnt get in the other coop (because he was too big and we didnt want any more chicks. He was an egg mum bought from a chicken place, and her only rooster.) and the basic city noises. He now lives on a farm, where he is much happier. His sister, who is a day older than him (the chicken in my signature wearing a jacket) still lives here.

I dont live with any of these animals though. Mother lives in england, while im up here in scotland. No animals in this house.

oh yeah I guess the title could be like triggering sorta to some catlovers/cat owners or whatever

like I dont wanna start **** bro just like the word kill and cat together, id probably be sort of upset if i read it and it said "this is the first time ive ever wanted to kill a dog" like just that string of words together

"this is the first time ive wanted to ****ing tape some damn cats mouth shut" is better I guess

idk just saying, to some people their cat is their life and just thinking about their cat being killed or dying makes them upset so, feel compelled to mention it, so maybe you could change the title to a discussion thread related thing like "have any neighbors pets pissed u off major" or something to avoid making some poor catlover out there worry hardcore about their cats

I get u dont actually want to kill the cat but just the words together, yea

edit** I said SOME btw like not everyone is easily triggered by **** like that so catlovers who werent triggered im not invalidating your cat love kk

My neighbor has 2 Coonhounds so you can imagine the ****ing howling at FOUR IN THE MORNING.

I love cats, but I don't think the OP really wants to kill it. It doesn't bother me.

On topic: my old dog. She would NEVER stop barking. It really hurt my ears, and I told my mom but she said "she doesn't bark that much" -_-. She's the main reason I prefer cats. She didn't even love me at all. I have a much better dog now, he's so cute and he rarely barks! I love him so much <3.

I know the op doesnt actually want to kill it, just tbch I have an actual friend who was a little triggered by it when they saw the thread so I decided to say something. its obvious op doesnt really wanna kill the cat, its just the word kill and cat together, they automatically thought of their cats and was upset

I dont wanna seem whiney or preachy idk just a friend got upset and I can see where theyre comin from so I thought I should say something yk?

Our old neighbors had a dog (which once ran into my own house and bit me), they'd leave her outside in the cold all night. They really weren't fit to be looking after an animal like that. She would bark constantly all night long, keeping me awake for hours.
They've moved out now, so no more barking dog, yay right?

Wrong. The new neighbors aren't as bad, but they also have a dog which barks a lot. Thankfully it's not all night, but it's still a lot during the day. They at least know how to look after an animal, but they're at work all day and don't have time because of it.

No problem :). I can see why it would bother some people

My wife's cat does this when she leaves for work in the mornings. Occasionally I get a day off, and I like to sleep in. Sleeping in for me is like 8 AM mind you. So my wife leaves around 6ish, 7ish, and the cat just yowls non stop. I kick him out and he yowls at the door. I let him back in and he yowls on the bed and tries opening the door. I let him out and he keeps yowling. It's a vicious cycle of yowling until I snap and kill him eventually.
