i've been using the diving trick to get PWPs suggested, and usually it works really well (like, 3rd or 4th try) but for some reason I can't get the wooden bridge suggested??
i've been trying for about 2 hours and gave up after Rolf suggested the brick bridge instead. why is this one specific pwp so hard to get???

i remember the pwp hustle ;;; don't worry, someone will request it someday, and on the bright side, even though you got the brick bridge requested instead of the wooden one, at least that's one less pwp that the villagers can suggest from now on :')

I don't know why it happens like that, but I know the feeling all too well. One town I'm still waiting for nature pwps like the wisteria trellis or a hot spring at least. The closest I've come is someone suggesting the flower bed....

I can never remember who suggests what, but thanks, I'll have to check the wiki! And I'll focus on my uchi. She hasn't really suggested anything so far, so that's probably why.

If you have the maximum amount of bridges possible in your town, they won't suggest them anymore. I don't think that seems to be the case, but figured I'd state it anyway.

I feel your pain. I've had Astoria for years and no one will request a Police Station. I've had a spot picked out for a long time, but my villagers refuse to suggest it. I guess they don't want the police around... *sigh*

We just gotta stick through it. I don't bother with the diving trick, so of course my PWP suggestions just trickle in at a snails pace. xD

Yeah that's how I always looked at it. I wanted my Jock to suggest the bonfire pwp for the longest time. I finally did get it, so I am happy about that. But he would always suggest everything but that. So while it was annoying, he eventually did give it to me, because the options started becoming limited.

Ahah I had the exact same issue with the bridge. I've beem wanting the wooden one for yeaaars, but one of my villagers recently suggested the brick one so I'm just sticking with that for now.

Genji suggested the police station pwp the other day, I almost cried tears of joy 8')

I know the feeling! ;-; I'm doing the diving trick for PWPs right now as well, but I have a lot that I'd like so they're easier to come by (but not really). I had the wooden bridge since like the 3rd PWP suggestion! I really want the Stonehenge, but Beardo is giving me terrible suggestions. And Hazel, god, there's 5 PWPs I want from her but she's being withholding.

You should also check first to make sure the villager you need for the wooden bridge is actually outside and accessible (i.e. not in their house, or on Main Street), unless that's one of the PWPs that anyone can suggest.

I've slowly given up on the pwp's mainly because I have such a busy schedule and doing so required too much effort at the time I didn't want to do. Anyway, reading this has given me a new perspective to try again when the time arises. Thanks y'all.

bringing this back to say I got the wooden bridge!!! i had to go through every cranky pwp and every 'can be suggested by anyone' pwp but i finally have it, time to start funding!!
