I play this game with my mom (we have separate islands and we just recently started a shared island, don't ask what compelled my mother to buy so many Switches because I'm just as baffled about it), and she had a villager move out of her town today and was really excited to go island hopping again. She LOVES the frogs, but she loves smug icon Henry in particular. She's seen him sing a lot on my island, and loves the villagers that sing, so it was meant to be. After I got home from work, I sat down next to her and played with her for a little while, watching her island hop. She was telling me she'd have a hard time letting go of Henry if she saw him on an island, and I told her I wouldn't blame her for it. At that moment, Henry started to sing KK Parade in my town, which caught the attention of my mother. I told her "Well, you just got the Henry good luck charm", motioning towards my Switch as she was fixated on this little dude singing. It's important to note she already turned down Fauna and Lily at this point, and definitely need some good luck. She sighed and went back to island hopping. She had 7 tickets and had used 6 of them already, meaning this next one was her last (although she could just buy more if she wanted to). She needed something GOOD.
She uses the ticket and lands on a bamboo island. But what's that? In the distance... A small, half-green, half-yellow frog! And not just any frog, but the one and only Henry! And at that moment, the Henry in my town started singing again. It was glorious. It was meant to be. She was still reluctant to take him because she was looking for a peppy villager like Cookie or Audie, but deep down she knew that she couldn't reject destiny, and invited him over to her island.
Basically, Henry is some sort of wizard and his good luck charm worked. The chance of this happening is ~0.1%. This event made me love my little frog way more than I already did. If you ever want a Henry good luck charm, feel free to let me know and I'll see what I can do. It's worked 100% of the time so far!
