So I've been time traveling WEEKS into the game to move out Flora. So far, Freya has asked to move out FOUR times, and Kitt asked to move twice. Flora still won't ask to move! What's worse, Kyle was in my campsite today and I can't even invite him to move in!

Anyone else with this bad of luck?

Edit: Kitt just asked to move out for the third time.

Yeah I had a bad luck streak moving out my last villager for my dreamie, it took 6 month real time. Needless to say I didn't hate that villager when I started trying to kick him out, now I can't even look at him lol

have you tried becoming really good friends with Flora? In my experience if I'm good friends with villagers they ask em to move out more often

Hazel was the first villager to move into my town. Which I started a year ago on June 11th. She didn't move out until March of this year, having only pinged to move that one time. To be fair sometimes I ignored her to the point we weren't on speaking terms, and I took a few hiatuses. But it's weird she never pinged to move when every other villager had.

Some villagers just don't want to leave.

I feel u. Flora only pinged me once in my town, and that was when I did abaolutely not want her to move.

Now she doesn't want to gtfo.

Some villagers are really stubborn :/ It took me forever to get Whitney out and in the end I think I tt about 3 months (2-4 days at a time). I was so irritated during the process though because it seemed like the only villagers interested in leaving were the ones I loved most.

I feel your frustration. I've been trying to get Benedict out since last July (no time traveling either; he literally hasn't asked to move out even once since he moved in). Ignoring didn't work. Befriending (with three different characters) isn't working.

At this point, I seem to think that he's just permanently stuck in my town, so I'm not even surprised when someone else asks to move out instead of him, but the past few times has just been extra annoying. I have two other Lazies in my town besides him who I don't want to move out right now. Chester asked to move out a few weeks ago. Then right after that, Zucker asked to move out. Next, Zucker asked to move out again. And just today, guess who wants to move out? Still Zucker.

my trick for the truly stubborn if you have the space to do it...is make another save file, talk to everyone atleast once. talk to everyone but the target villager and utterly ignore them. no touching no mailing, no net abuse (as fun as it can be) can get rid of them in about a week...sometimes longer but works most the time.

1) Have you introduced yourself to Flora? If she still doesn't know you, do so.
2) Is Flora your 10th villager? If she is, someone needs to move out before she can leave.
3) Does Flora have any items up for sale at Retail? If she does, buy it. She won't leave until you buy them.
4) If you talked to Flora more than once, you will need to create a new character. Once you befriend a villager, they will not leave until their friendship level is high enough. That could take weeks.

Friendship, ignoring, I'm not convinced anything works - I think it's just totally random who chooses to go. I had Merry in my town from September to April realtime and I had five of her pics by the time she finally, finally asked to leave. Go on, tell me I wasn't good enough friends with her! lol Sometimes the RNG is nice to you, and sometimes it bites you in the ass.

EDIT: also, tenth villagers can in fact move out first. I had Agnes in my town for all of three days before she decided to go - she came, she saw, she packed her bags. I didn't even bother to add her to my sig list, it was so quick. Guess she didn't like me

Right now I'm trying to get O'Hare move out.. (after Julian moved in I have 3 smugs in my town and no Lazy villagers..)

I've been using TT 6 day forward & 6 day backward method and it's working, but it's always someone else that wants to move =_=... Merengue wanted to move like twice, Marshal once, Bonbon once and Olivia twice.. and I'm still trying In my campsite I had Diana and Marina but couldn't ask them to move in :[ ughhh >.<
