umm no it's called an opinion. I can see why some people didn't enjoy the games, and tbh I didn't think it was that great either. It was messy, choppy, and felt unfinished in a way. I give them props though since it was their first Pokemom 3D title

I'm talking about people saying it should look something closer to Smash Bros or an MMO, two entirely different genres I think you'll find. I am aware of what an opinion is thanks. My comment was lighthearted. :)

Pokemon games are boring and repetitive, as much as people complain about AC getting dull I'm amazed that more people don't play Pokemon. I hadn't played a Pokemon game since Gold had came out, and I got bored with Y as soon as I beat the Elite 4 and all that. The game was fun at first but it quickly became a chore to play. Now I don't have any motivation to even turn it on anymore.

I don't see the hoopla at all to be honest.

I think the thing for a lot of players to keep playing is the competitive aspect, pok?dex filling and maybe the shiny hunting and so on. TBT has a low number of fans it seems, but the Pok?mon community is actually quite large. I can definitely see those things being unappealing to people tho. I think it wouldn't hurt for GameFreak to try to make better/deeper stories. 5th Gen probably did best in that regard.

I can't believe third game is winning over sequels u guys wtf!!!!

I'd still like to see a game (I suppose it'd be "Pokemon Z") which takes place after the ultimate weapon was fired for the first time, and the protagonist (I suppose on his/her way to trying to become the Champ in a time of restoration) winds up having to awaken Zygarde to fix the destroyed ecosystem of the world (or Kalos).
After all, Zygarde's pokedex entry says that it emerges when the ecosystem goes out of balance, and a big honk'n explosion which ends a war (and most likely wipes out quite a lot of life, as Lysandre was going to use it as a bringer of destruction) is pretty ecologically damaging.

I also said "third game" because that'd be less expensive (since I like to run nuzlockes, that means I have to buy or be gifted both versions of the game; one version where I can breed and battle, and another where I can play nuzlocke variations).
Though, I'd also like to see at least one additional save file if they come out with another game...and as long as it doesn't upgrade from ORAS. I've just now finally (almost) transferred all of my pokemon and items from X to AS...I don't want to have to do that again.

So actually, now that I think about it and have already voted, I'd prefer if they made some DLC content for ORAS; such as additional megas (I'd love to see mega Raichu and perhaps mega Dragonite), the return of the Battle Frontier, more plot with Looker (he washes up at the Battle Resort and...then just nothing), and other areas of exploration (only a small portion of New Mauville can be explored; in the original R/S/E, it was a small maze of electronic switches, while in ORAS, there are only two explorable rooms which include barricaded stairs and locked doors).

They'll probably release Pokemon XX and XY. Or maybe not. :p

They wouldn't, but that'd be hilarious if you could only play as female in XX and male in XY.

I want a new gen rather than a sequel or a 'Z'.

I'd like a third version. Not only does it make the most sense with the axes of 3D being X, Y and Z, but Black 2 and White 2, by comparison, weren't as enjoyable in my opinion.
