Think the outcropping land will be used for something?

As far as I can tell, there are three things that every island has... The secret beach, the pier, and the bit of land that juts out into the ocean.

We know now that secret beach is for Redd. In addition to having it's own fish, the pier is very likely to be used at some point for some kind of boat. But the land into the ocean has no use or special creatures or anything associated with it. Yet every island has one...

I could see this being another place a ship could dock. I have no idea who or why... But it feels like too much of a landmark to just go unused. Unless they just wanted to give us all an obvious spot to put a lighthouse.

Do you think it'll have any future use? What kind of things could it be?

I expect Kapp'n to use the dock, though I think he'll take us to a Tortimer's Island type thing. I would miss Luna if they re-themed the dream suite to Kapp'n's boat, though I know I'm in the minority there!

I would be sad if Luna didn't return too (and I don't think you're in the minority, even if many aren't probably as attached to her as they are other NPCs).

it would be really cool if they used it as an observatory of sorts, though its too small to really build much for Celeste (maybe just a telescope?)

The only thing about the dream suite, is that it seems like kind of an odd thing to build as a stand-alone building. A boat would make more sense in terms of island space. I wouldn't be surprised if she was a place we flew to, like Harv'.

I have swapped between putting a lighthouse, telescope, and tourist telescope / binocular thing there.

I hope another ship doesn't show up there, though (at least, not without prior knowledge), because that's very close to where I live and have my gardens!

I don't think it'll be used for anything specific. Everyone's is shaped differently, some big enough to place a house, some can barely fit the lighthouse. So I think it's whole point is purely decoration purposes, but I'd love to be proven wrong though.

Currently have Godzilla and Mothra on there, but if swimming come back, it would make a nice diving board all things considered haha.

What to do with the peninsula?

Don't reset to terraform it! While you can terraform it, it isn't very substantial. Terraforming has to leave about 1 space between the rim of the peninsula and the new cliff. On my peninsula I'm only able to raise an area 3 blocks wide so not much fits up there. It's also so narrow you can't...

That looks incredible!! And yours is like 4 times the size of mine! Seeing this, I kind of doubt it'll be used for anything, if they're THAT different. Mine can just barely fit a lighthouse, so to me it's just felt like a placeholder for something. I thought everyone's was like 3 spaces long.
