And whats up with the balloon presents? Where do they come from and why are they filled with ugly

Backgrounds for the characters. I bet Tom Nook used to be an old bachelor who always followed all the rules a little too close and women thought he was plain and cheapskate. Gracie Grace was a little too tall and intimidated the other kids. They pretty much Rudolf the red nose raindeered her and she didn't fit it but wanted to prove them all wrong so she became this high class fashion designer.

Tortimer used to be but they're was supposed to be another mayor before us. That's why at the start of the game Isabelle greets you as the mayor (saying she was expecting you to get off the train) and your only options are acting confused etc. We weren't supposed to be mayor, but no one knows who was supposed to get off that train instead.

i like to think it was rover, i'm just amused by the idea of him seeing some kid on a train and thinking "okay thank god let's see f i can pass the buck here"

i wanna know what's up with the trains. there's trains passing at specific times of the day, but i never have to use those. i just tell porter where i wanna go and he just summons a train for me within seconds.

I like to imagine that he's really a bunny but the zipper of his overalls got stuck to his fur so he can't take it off and he just gets really pissed at people saying it's a costume.
And for him to prove itwould be very painful because the zipper latched onto his fur.

Why does Gracie need only the mayor's(or other player) sense of fashion to relocate? Shouldn't she look at other villagers? Is Labelle's word not good enough?
