I really would've liked if they added new fish, bugs and seafloor creatures, new house exteriors, fruit and maybe even more island mini games.

I'm still happy with what we got.

I wanted more QR spaces. And the ability to put some furniture outside.

Being able to manually pick a new villager's house location......
spent an hour resetting last night.

New fish, bugs, PWP and QR spaces. But I'm still very happy with the update. :)

I'm happy with the update as it is. We got more new features than I expected. But yeah, I of course wouldn't have opposed them adding even more new stuff. New villager dialogue, for example! I've become bored with talking to the villagers because I've heard all their dialogue numerous times. Not getting more dialogue is pretty much the only thing I'm a bit disappointed with. Maybe they could've gotten rid of some PWP restrictions as well. Would've liked that too! For now I just hope that they saved any new features we didn't get for the next mainline game!

To be able to leave path QR codes with Mable... I hate having to have an extra character for my path

All the people above me have basically said the things that I would have liked.

I think they might have actually added new island tours, since I got a fossil hunting tour I didn't remember existing. I had to run around the island digging up pre-identified fossils, then arrange them in a house according to how they were arranged in a sample house. Maybe I just forgot the tour existed, though, it's been a while since I last played regularly.

I really wish they had added in the entire HHD system or whatever, with half-tile spaces and wall decorations. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the update.

This tour existed before. :)

Off Topic: Glad to see there's another user who put a welcome amiibo villager card in their signature.

On Topic: I just wish there was a way to make plans for your town before you actually do it. Like dream of what your town is going to look like at the Dream Suite. Just sit on the couch to activate it. You can have limited amounts of greenery, place pwps down, find out what villagers you want, don't want, or move them somewhere else, etc. Get it all from Lloid. You can save your work and it will be recorded. The next time you visit, you can start planning your town again.

I was really hoping for an increased villager limit, but I suppose that would've been a stretch... ^^; I still love all the cool new stuff they've added! :D

That's what I thought the dream suite actually did when I first started playing XD

Picking where neighbors moved. And it also would have been nice to add more neighbors. Though I can understand why they didn't, seeing as the town isn't THAT big... new dialog, PWPs, ceiling items, maybe a new shop, new hairstyles (though we got a lot of new wigs) and half spaces in houses. Yeah, that's a lot.

I agree with you... half-way. It's true they went overboard with the villagers and the furniture, excessively in my opinion, but more fishes or island games aren't either what I would have wanted.
What about implementing carpets (and I don't mean floors), ceiling lamps or curtains? What would have been awesome! Or allowing the middle spaces? Even better!
More bushes, trees and flowers for landscaping was a great idea, adding natural diversity not only in colours.
And exterior decoration? That would have been SO GREAT! :-(

I wish they fixed the horizontal modern bridges. The tiles are stretched on them.
