Things you wish were a thing!

I haven't seen a thread in my time here about what people would like added to the game! In my two years of playing AC:NL I have always had little pop-ups in my brain screaming at me "WHY ISN'T THIS A THING."

So, to start off this thread, here's one of my wishes.

? Why, for all that is holy, can you not tell villagers where they can move.

Being able to get closer with villagers! Like inviting multiple to your house, asking them favors which they may or may not do for you, initiating games with them, going shopping together, fun stuff.

Those all sound awesome! With the favors thing I was thinking about something like that, but give them options like, watering flowers, picking weeds, little odd-jobs that would benefit the town instead of them being lazy little hunks of code that just request expensive furniture for clothing.

I wish we could choose 2 ordinances or at least have another way where the flowers never die so that you can choose bell boom ordinance to get more money and not worry about flowers dying.

I'd increase item storage; modify Club Tortimer so that if one player loses/cuts wifi it doesnt drop anybody else from the game; maybe add voice chat for visiting towns (if not for CT).

I think it'd be a cool idea if you could pay (I don't care if it's even as much as like, a lighthouse) to remove ROCKS. My towns map layout is fabulous but I have 9 rocks. 9. All in the most inconvenient of places!

being able to report players on CT instead of just blocking them. then again that could probably be abused

What do you guys think of being able to make house exteriors? Design a really pretty exterior for your house or a villagers. c:

I wish they had more colors and varieties of hybrids.... I need more variation! And like I don't particularly like the pink flowers as I'm a guy! So I wish there were more options!

Also inviting villagers to travel with you! Like it could Pop up like a favor and tag along like Katie. Then they either follow you around and wander (like how they follow you to your house, but wander around the rooms in your house).

Maybe you could choose whether you get mail from Mum, Dad or both. I haven't had a Mum since I was young, and it feels kinda weird to have "Mum" sending me letters. I'd much rather getting them from Dad each time, since I've ACTUALLY had a Dad IRL

i wish there was a grid system for placing public works projects!
having to talk to isabelle and move the pwp over one square at a time to get the placement just right is infuriating, i'd love to just be shown a grid of the town and place it manually

aside from that, it'd be nice to have a chance to beg your villagers to stay when they're in boxes. that way if someone missed their villager saying they wanted to move, they had the chance to get them to change their mind and stay

..i also wish that villagers could wear little hats, it would be so cute ;o;

On the clothing note, I wish they could wear sleeves! I work hard on those, man. Then you just cut em off. :c

Another wish being that ponds could be PWP's! I have 3 and like my rocks, are in bad spots next to Re-tail and the town hall OTL.

I seriously wish there was a way to regrow grass quickly. They could even make it so that you could pay Leif to regrow it overnight for you or something. Even if it was a ridiculous fee, I'd pay it. It sucks not being able to run in your own town.

I wish, when you play more than one character in a town, that one of them wouldn't disappear when you play the other. It would be nice to see them out wandering around like you see in dream towns. Maybe you could catch them sitting on a bench or sleeping on a stump.

I wish you could send letters to people and villagers outside of your town instead of having to be in their post office! I would have loved accessories like scarves, necklaces and bracelets :O It would also be nice to have the same number of rooms on both floors of your house instead of only having one room upstairs.
