Being able to get closer with villagers! Like inviting multiple to your house, asking them favors which they may or may not do for you, initiating games with them, going shopping together, fun stuff.

I think that there should be more upgrades and stores, maybe fix the custom designs page. I hate that I have to keep all my currently used patterns have to be on one of my characters :c

Yes yes yes, I WISH we could choose where villagers plot their homes. I mean I get that we're not some kind of dictator mayor but it's so annoying when they plot right on a path. I wish we could choose how colored the lights are. I like the stained glass lamps but I'm not super fond of the wash of purple it produces, especially when you have more than one lamp.

I wish we were able to wake our villagers up. Like knock on their door when they're sleeping, and we you go in their house they'll be all sleepy and may even fall asleep in the middle of the conversation. I think it would be cute lol

But it wouldn't be dictator-ish! In reasonable, prosperous towns, people need permits, and and OKAY from the city officials to build! All we want is some order and respect.

I wish we could write on the billboard things, and the villagers would comment or actually do said thing. Like, if it's a birthday of a villager and we as mayor write something and say "Give presents" said villager is really happy the next day because we suggested it and it happened.

I wish that players could share a house, like in Wild World. I would love to make my characters' families but I can't because they'd have separate houses and that wouldn't make sense, lol.

I wish that you could visit your own other player characters too. You could have it like, you go into their house and they are sitting somewhere and when you press A near by them, you get a message, such as "You chat with (player) for a while".

I wish, when you go to CT, that if you hang out with someone and BF each other you could go to either of your towns. (Kinda like a voting system.) Instead of having to add FC's and take up buddy space all the time. :c

Choose where villagers live. 100% agree. I've had like, 4289437921574175382 villagers move right in the EXACT middle of pretty much everything I've worked hard on. It drives me INSANE.

First of all I think Nintendo should look at this thread and make all of this reality when the next game comes out.

Hmm as for me, perhaps with the Public Work Projects it has a similar furniture placement function to Happy Home Designer. So instead of running around with Isabelle, trying to get into what you think is a good place and then having to determine if it's a good space without seeing the map you just drag it on the lower screen to somewhere where you want and if it's red then no, but if it's green you're good to go! It then shows where it would place on the map and what the area around it would look like so you have a better idea what the end result will look like.

Also, perhaps you could have the ability to rotate Public Work Projects. Maybe it's a silly idea but what I have in mind is that with projects like benches, the flowery green arc thingies and so on you can have the option to rotate them if you want.

Finally, when giving furniture to your villagers, you get to place where it goes so it doesn't end up in a stupid position. It's so frustrating when it happens...maybe it's just me but still.

Might be silly, but color-coded houses? Like, on the map you can choose a color for your villagers placement house, and when you choose the color it also turns the letters they send you that color. c: It'd just be pretty.

There are a lot of things I wish existed in-game:

• Berry bushes, and the ability to harvest grapes from the grape trellis pwp
• The ability to stack most items in-game, or better yet, a bigger inventory
• More locker storage! I find myself transferring stuff between alts too often because I'm out of space
• The ability to create completely custom furniture with like a 3d voxel editor (maybe even make it like a separate thing downloadable from the eshop or something but this is probably asking for too much)
• A 'creative mode' (like in Minecraft) where you can basically spawn and mess around with every item/object in the game and customize the map to the way you want
• Cooking and an actual reason to eat food other than taking snapshots of your villager eating
• The ability to plot villagers where you want them
• On/off grass deterioration option
• More colors and varieties of hybrids and also more fruits
• The ability to farm and grow vegetables, herbs, and more plants
• The ability to place furniture outside (maybe incorporate it into the pwp limit?)
