Things that are NOT OK :(

The exact same thing just happened to me, same spot just in front of the mayor house. There was lot of space all around but no it has to be there. I didn't think it was possible.

That's horrible placement. Random? Yeah right.

Velma once put her house 2 spaces right in front of my bridge, and didn't move for a month. I love how you can't put PWPs there, but a villager can just pop their HOUSE wherever. >:C

Yes, lately I had the "brillant" idea to change my bridge and was told by Isabelle that the houses around were way too close (not really) "it might cause a problem"....Yeah right! It wasn't a problem though when they moved!

That is some bad placement.

Julian did something similar to me, but in a way I got lucky. My ramp is positioned in a way that still allows easy access.

Now that I think of it, Tangy did something very similar in my first town. I still managed to get down my ramp.

Dude that suckkksssss. I'm assuming your beach is connected to make one big one?? If not, that sucks!! My beach is two separate ones, so I need Pierce out so he can stop blocking the path ASAP

My stupid beach is in two pieces and you can't even reach the other one without a wet suit. Every time one of the villagers wants to play hide and seek with me I have to go and grab my wet suit because SOMEHOW a cow can make it to the other beach but I can't. The bigger beach had 2 ramps though so it's not the end of the world.

Holy s*** i'd be infuriated lol bianca did this to me with one of my bridges so i TT'd her out and removed her from my dreamies list lmAo

she made you that mad xD

The worst addition Nintendo has ever added to animal crossing. I wonder in the next game, you get to have different jobs. One of them is working at Nooks Homes. Where you actually get to choose where your villager will stay. And a different villager will appear each time you reset.

Kinda similar to Happy Home Designer, and it might break cycling. But its our only hope to get rid of the addition. Right now we have plot resetting.

X) And THAT is why I protect vital traveling areas of my village with PWPs. Though, Pierce also was a trouble maker in my village too. Plopped his house a few squares in front of Lucky's and next to my bridge. Not the best, but I love him so I made do.

That is some bad placement and it seems like the villagers have a natural gravitation towards that exact spot in every town. I see villagers plot there all the time.

But honestly if it's such a problem for someone to move in that spot, why not try and plot reset like 2 times so they wouldn't move there? Or protect it with a pwp

Villagers can overcome the laws regarding bridges, but you can't put a bridge next to a villager. So if you have a villager move in next to a bridge, demolish the bridge and then try to rebuild it there... it wont let you. 10/10

It shouldn't even be possible to plop a house right there, that is so freaking inconveniencing! D: You'll have to squeeze past just to use your own beach.

OMG, that picture. Yes, I agree. That's not ok. It's almost as bad as when they land right in front of the house. I hope he'll go soon.

Something similar happened to me with O'Hare in an older town I used to have and what made it worse...he was a dreamie! :(

Oh wow, he really couldn't have picked a better spot could he?
Having said that, the area by the ramp to my beach is one of the few remaining spaces a house could be placed, so I always have villagers trying to put their houses there. Luckily I plot reset but on one occasion I did almost forget and near loaded up the game as my mayor....lucky I didn't as marshal had indeed put his house in the same spot as pierce has here!

I didn't use to plot reset & I've been lucky with placements, well ones I could live with - until I got Sylvia right in front of my main bridge linking R-Tail to dock. Now I plot reset. I was lucky in that I was able to move the bridge just a space or two.
Unfortunately you can't move the ramp, all you can do is what you are doing, I hope it isn't the 'main' ramp used for R-Tail to dock?

Even with plot reset, accidents can still happen - random move in from streetpass or via a trade/visit - I never really know when a plot might turn up from those two.

Urrg! that has to be one of the worst places!!
This is why i plot rest now to stop this from happening when i never used to before!
