I was holding Tia for someone who couldn't pick her up from a cycler because of error codes. She finally pinged tonight and I let the member know that she was good to go, but before I TT'd to get her into boxes we tried a visit to my town, just in case... no go same error code. Is this common across different countries? If I can speak to my friend in Germany over Skype, why is this an issue for AC?

My heart is breaking, this is the second time her hopes have been raised at getting her dreamie, only to be shut down.

This has happened to me in the past, I also missed out on dreamy trades. :( My wi-fi problem resolved itself the next day, but it took a while and I strangely wasn't able to connect with one of the traders from the previous day, even though I could go everywhere else just fine. I know it wasn't only with one trader, I had attempted to wi-fi with someone else with identical results that same day. This doesn't really bode well, but hopefully you guys will be able to connect tomorrow. Good luck. ^^'

Also, I believe someone else here was having similar problems. I don't know if they've tested out their wi-fi today, though.

I'm not sure if this would help or not, but whenever I get an error code, I close every browser window I have open on my computer, disable the internet connection on my iPod and phone, and that way the only thing using the internet is my DS. Afterwards I try again and it works.

I'll direct her to this post - perhaps she can figure out what's happening. I've been popping in and out of people's towns all day with no issue. :(

What if it just says error with no error code? Pretty sure that's what happened to me. (I could be wrong though)

It always have an error code, at least that what I read, this aren't the only ones, but they are the most common, try doing it, it sounds super hard, but if I did it, a baby can. :)

I've had the no error code error quite a few times, most times after a couple of tries it fixes, but for one poor Mayor hoping to sell her turnips in my town, the error without a code did not go away! We decided we must have incompatible DS's or something... But it does very much suck!

@OP - I would suggest finding a trustworthy 3rd party to hold Tia for your friend, so you can move her elsewhere that your friend can fingers crossed visit!

I also do this whenever I connect with my DS, but not quite as severe! I just make sure not to reload/refresh any pages and stop family members doing the same and I usually have a stress free connection :)

What I do is I delete my internet connection on my 3ds then make a new one..
I really hope it works :(

Haha, I know you didn't mean to help me but this was actually very helpful xD. Maybe I should try testing my connection again.

When I first go New Leaf, I had the same problem. I was kind of upset/annoyed by it because multiplayer is a huge fun feature of the game to me. Then, our internet began to play up altogether, so we switched wifi companies (to a cheaper but better one), and got a free router while we were at it. Now it works fine for me.

Hope you can fix your problem! :)
