I just love visiting them! They are so amazing :) I've seen towns for certain species, horror, fairytale...

I was thinking of making one myself ^_^ I already have some ideas. However, I was wondering how I can work on it while still spending most of my time in my main town, which is far from being perfect right now.

Do you have a themed or simply a second town?
If so, did you work on it in parallel with your main town, or did you wait until you were bored / had done everything there is to do in your main town? How do you divide your time between the two towns?
If not, how would you go about making one? Have you ever thought about it? What kind of town would you make?

I'd love to hear your thoughts about this! :blush:

I'm trying to make a themed down night now (medieval kingdom themed) and am thinking of a name! I'm replacing my old town w it.

I have 2 theme town
One it's a zoo and the other one it's about couples/pairs and valentine

And In the future il have 2 more
One all purple theme and the other it's not a theme it's gonna be one species town which will be mouse

I want to do a couple of theme towns but I need more copies of the game first haha!
I kind of want to do a cat themed town and a wolf themed town and possibly a frog themed town.
I'm not sure which I'd do first.

For the frog I'd want it to be blue themed (blue hydrangeas - pears - blue flowers) and once it was complete save the dream address when it's storming.

Wow that's a lot of towns! How long does it take for you to complete one?

And I love your valentine town idea! Who did you pair?

I just started a new town called Salem and the mayor is Lilith (meaning Night Monster). All of the villagers will be dead looking or have a somewhat dead theme (ie: lucky, coco)

But in that town at least I have enough red flowers to make heart gardens
I just need more corals :p

What does otp means?

And why?

OTP = one true pairing
Because I love cranston and Im just now realizing that they would be beautiful together. They'd sip green tea and watch the sunset together ;o;

Oh ok I juts always find them cute together and fit perfectly because both looks like swan(a bit) and swan are repressed as love

I don't have a themed town, it's a lot of work and I don't think I'd like the theme forever, but I do love visiting themed towns, they are super interesting!!

I recently started my second town when I felt there wasn't much more I could do with my first town. That was 3 years later. Though, I had wanted a second town for a while! It's not really that hard to manage the two. I mainly focus on my second town now, and I just check my first one to make sure no one is leaving. I also play it when I want to play it, rather than my second town.

I have a lazytown and one cranky one where the villagers just invited to move in if they are the type and then they always like to repeat each other. The lazy town has hammocks/cots and weeds all over the place, dirt road paths, a small mayor house and no big deal pwp's. Unless you count the dream center, but hey they get to sleep in there. The cranky one has an uptight mayor that picks up trash, paves the paths, and constantly tries to keep his house payments going up and making as many pwp's as he can. I have been doing the lazy one longer and will keep it up when the cranky one gets old and changes to something else.

Themed towns are my absolute favorite! I have three of them, soon to be four.

My main town of Ruddyoak is partly Lord of the Rings-themed, my town of Goblin is fully "Labyrinth"-themed, and my town of AHS is fully "American Horror Story"-themed.

I had Ruddyoak for months before I got the idea to create Goblin. While working on Goblin, I visited back and forth between the two towns so I could give Bells, items, Shampoodle access, etc. to my residents of Goblin. Once Goblin was finished and the DA uploaded, I stopped playing actively in Goblin (though I do set the time and visit occasionally to talk to villagers).

This past October, I got the idea for my American Horror Story town. While working on AHS, I focused on it almost exclusively. This meant just doing the basics in Ruddyoak, which I was in the process of remodeling.

Now that Goblin and AHS both have their dream addresses, I will focus on finishing Ruddyoak before beginning my next themed town.

(Oh, and somewhere in there I had two themed cycling towns: the Easter-themed town of Ostara and the "Daria"-themed town of Lawndale. I didn't keep them, though...I really only can focus on one themed town at a time, because I make them as detailed and authentic to the theme as I can. I love, love, love seeing the thought people put into their themed towns!)
