The woes of plot resetting...

Sometimes i think the game can read my mind and messes with me.I can't believe the places a house plot can end up.If theres just one area that i don't want a villager to move in,it's almost garanteed that they will set themselves in that spot, over and over again.I got so tired of plot resetting that now my town has fire hydrants EVERYWHERE.I just wish we could have more than 30 pwp's because it really has helped. However, I'm not looking forward to tearing them all down once i get all the villagers i want.

Oh gosh, I know that feeling. I have flower beds everywhere lol

I read on tumblr that you should plot reset 4-6 times by going back to the homepage (so clicking home & closing the game), and if you find that the villager keeps moving in around the same spot, power off your 3DS completely and reboot it again, then repeat 4-6 times and if you're still not happy with the placement, do this again.

Not sure if it works, but worth a try next time! :)

I was plot resetting for Coco and I wanted her to either be in line with Stitches and Muffy or be in line with Zucker.... I gave up after about 2 hours.... She's in line with the campsite but she's left enough space for where I want my path to go. Thank goodness for that.

Shortest was Pinky... Two plot resets and she was in a good enough spot for me. She's my fave, so I wanted her to be really close by and she was, thankfully. I did want her to be a bit more in line with my house, but didn't want to risk never getting her in the perfect, so I was happy with where she is.

Ugh, plot resetting is the worst when you have 4 houses all of your dreamies and suddenly one of your dreamies moves out, especially when you've a lot of upcoming trades or the move-in sets their plot many times on the same spot :c

It can be really exhausting to rest for like 10-12 hours a day or longer :/ The lonest reset took me 3 or four days .-.

A might helpful tip is to use pwps! (I think someone arleady mentioned it but I didn't read all replies) I can just encourage everyone to place pwps where the villagers set their plot a lot! If you have built already maby pwps it's the best to place them where you don't want their plot at all :)

Yeah, I've been doing that! It does work :)
