Most of us use the 2/2 trick. You play, TT 2 days forward, run around and wait for a villager to ping (!). If nobody pings, TT 2 days back and run around and wait for someone to ping. If you are trying to evict a specific villager, make sure you are doing this at a time when then villager is outside.

I did it on accident since I was resetting Freya's house plot. Just so happened that I had a tent when I first made a new character.
Ah, thank you! That's very helpful. I've just been standing around waiting for people to ping. hasn't worked very well.
Is there a character you could TT out to have an opening?

I've seen a couple tumblr posts about the camp reset. I'll have to try it myself when I get an open spot.
But I probably wouldn't reset any more than 30-40 times. If there aren't any tents/favorable villagers, I'd just stop.

It's kind of funny now that I look at these forums, I realize people want Tangy and Julian a lot. Meanwhile, I have friends who have them in their towns and hate them.

Yeah, I've seen alot of popular animals. I got Lolly and Beau from the campsite, and Fang for my boyfriend. I've missed popular ones such as Zucker, Marina, Julian, and Whitney, though. I have a notepad where I keep track of what animals I see in the campsite when I reset, haha.
Same here. I hate Hamphrey, and people are clamoring for him!

Oops I lied. It was one person who hated both Julian and Tangy.
For some reason I thought it was my friend who made that AC orange post.
edit: I'll try to see if he still has them in his town. If he's willing I'll post about it. He's playing Borderlands 2 though.
