Duping really did mess up the game, luckily the majority of this little forum community aren't interested in it. Although some of the regular posters in the Re-tail section are a bit shady..
I'm still waiting for nightwind to give me Marcie, I'm super worried a villager will move in before then. Eeep.

Lyla, how many villagers do you have? If you're at 9 you should be ok. Otherwise, create a throwaway character to use first and check if there are any new plots in your town. If there are, just reset and try again to make sure nobody takes the space.

I do only have the 9 but its been confirmed that unwanted villagers can move in from others towns even if you haven't spoken to them. I know one of my friends has gaston moving out atm, I don't want him to barge in and take Marcie's space. :s I will use the reset trick in the morning before to check for new villagers though. I hope I can get Marcie soon, its been a few days now. Wish her friend would hurry up and claim her villager, I'm freaking out haha.

So what made you guys choose your dreamies? Like when I was choosing mine I wanted to make sure that I had a villager of each personality so I could still unlock all of the PWPs and have a variety of different conversations. It was hard not to just choose a town full of adorable normal villagers ha. What kinda things did you guys consider when picking them? ^-^
