The Villager Advisory Thread

I have fallen in LOVE with Rudy he is awesome
but is it really worth getting rid of Stinky in Azalea for him..
I didnt like Stinky at first, but hes one of my originals and has been there since July and ive become such amazing friends with him getting his picture etc
but, is it good to have a change?

Nan moved into my new town, and I like her a lot, but I already have two normal female villagers. I'm thinking of making her a dreamie instead of Sparro, but I'm not sure. I know they're completely different, but I need help deciding.

I just feel.. Parfait is going to stay the same due to the theme
if Azalea stays stagnant too, i wont have any new villagers ever :(
Mitzi, Stinky, Bluebear, Rocket, Lopez.. would free up 5 spots
But Mitzi and Stinky are originals since July.. and Lopez moved in as the first smug in July..
But id still have Apple & Willow as starters from July.. and i'd have Vesta, Muffy, Stitches too
Hm
Idk i could try Rudy..Fauna..Ankha..Sydney..Ozzie... So many

'Crazy' question for Karen

Karen,

I have what may considered a crazy question for you…

Do you think that some villagers (name anyone in particular) are better (or best) suited for towns which have for their themes the Train Station and Town Hall in Fairy-Tale, Modern, or Zen?

Hello, I did decide to let someone hold Rosie and just be on the look out for Felicity, but now I have another problem.

My town is named Innmouth. It is based on the Skullgirls location, Little Innsmouth, where the reanimated Ms. Fortune resides and has befriended fish folk.

The reason I say this is that I wanted to keep to that, originally, by having the closest to that, Marina and Octavian. However, I found myself really liking Fauna as I adopted her from the campsite and originally wanted to give her away in some sort of fashion. And if I choose to keep Fauna instead of the duo Octavian and Marina, I can make way for a cranky wolf villager (I'm thinking Fang in particular) and instead of Freya, Diana, whom I think looks very pretty. Then I'd just replace Fuchsia with Muffy as I'm very much enjoying her gothic lolita style.

It sounds like a lot, and I apologize, but the only question that I have is this: do I keep going with what I was originally planning, keeping Innmouth like its counterpart, or go this other way?

It's good to have a change but if he's like your only original then I would keep :c because even if you cycle back for him later it will be different

Definitely many options :c Rudy is pretty awesome, I'd try him out (never had him but seems cool).

Yep! For example, Genji is better for a zen themed town.

Do whatever you want :] just because you originally based it off something else doesn't mean you have to stick with it. In fact, you could twist it up so it's even cooler than what it was before XD don't feel bad because you can't follow what it's "supposed" to be like. I named my town Sydney and it looks nothing like Sydney :P if I were you, [it seems like you have a good new idea] go this other way and try it out. If you don't like it you can always go back to what you were planning.

If you look at my dreamies list, should I swap Fauna with Skye? Should I swap Apollo with Octavian?

Okay this is going to be biased

But Octavian is so awesome I mean you won't regret having him lol (I had Apollo and never really liked him)

Fauna / Skye doesn't really matter because you have Freya and Dierdre (aka, overlap of species either way). But you're asking for my opinion so I would take Skye :c wolves are cooler than deer imo

Okay, thank you! I think I wanted to do something like that in the first place, but I got all caught up in the name that I thought that's how it should be, even the paths, which I'd actually prefer pretty ones over the boardwalk similar to Innsmouth. But I really needed someone else's opinion on that. Thanks, I really appreciate it.

I think Rudy's pretty cute for a jock (even though I think everything about him screams that he should be a deer). As long as you still have originals you're for sure keeping, you could mix it up in that regard.

Yeah, I was thinking that all 6 octopi would be really cool. I switch them out.

And mm, I know I have species overlap I just wanted to know which one was cuter/fit my town better. Marina's my definite normal but I love them so much I want space #9 to be a normal too, they're so cute! And I actually have whitney, not freya, haha.

Can anybody and if not everybody who participates in this thread give me some insight/opinion/advice, whatever is needed and help me with this:

Frobert or Paula? And also what's your opinion on them? Just wondering. Anyway, I like my other villagers like Flurry and O'Hare right now. I have to admit that I tried to like Paula but I just don't. She not only moved into the wrong spot and I already had an Uchi (which is Rocket and so far I prefer her atm) even though I do like her room design. But then there's Frobert whom for awhile and I like him but I really want to make room for one of my dreamies because my friend said that if he ever came to the Cycle town of hers that she'd look out for him and he's a jock. I can tolerate Frobert more than Paula but I wouldn't mind if he moved either. But I just want to know who should I get rid of first (if given the option although I'm aware it's randomized)? Also I've had Frobert ever since the start of the game though so I'm more than willing to let him go although I prefer it if Paula moved out but yeah.

I hope that makes sense and wow, I'm sorry if this was super lengthy.

I say...Paula need so to go.

You don't like her. Her house is in a bad spot. You already have an Uchi you prefer.

Frobert you simply don't have any attachment to.

Too many Harry Potter theme towns out there and I'm looking for something unique. I'm going to change the town theme to seasons. I'll have each character; Spring, Summer, Winter and Fall have different townies in their section.

Spring was the easiest to choose;
Robin for my snooty
Fushia for my Uchi
and of course I need a bunny - Ruby for my Peppy

Fall I think I'll be ok with;
Ricky - Cranky
and either Clay or Lucky for my Lazy

Winter
Tutu - Peppy
Aurora - Normal
Maybe Hans for my Smug

My problem is Summer. I think I'm going with Bud for my Jock but I need a tenth villager that suggests summer. He can be any personality, since I've got them covered. But I want a laid back, chill out kind of animal who's place optimally would fit the season.

I already have 2 smugs and 2 snooties. I'm thinking of maybe letting go of Julian (because I already have Marshal and I love him to death) and I already have Diana but thinking of letting go of Ankha. Should I keep both or let go of either Julian or Ankha?

I don't have an uchi so thinking of getting Frita or muffy. Also, thinking of swapping Ankha for Olivia (she's so cute) ?

I hate plot resetting though, but i'm starting to feel rather bored with my town Dx

Well, if you're thinking of letting them go, then obviously you're not SUPER duper attached to them ~ I say give another villager a try and make someone else's dream come true with Ankha / Julian :)

Any species? Bud is a good choice. Either: Annabelle, Twiggy, Margie, Tangy, Mira

I say include Dierdre for autumn though.

So I have a town called Carrot. I'm thinking of giving it somewhat of a bunny theme. I have only three non-bunny dreamies. Would it be a good idea to fill up the remaining 6 slots with only bunnies?
