The Unexpected Occupant- when was the last time you found a camper irresistible?

I'm terrible with sticking to my resolve...I invited in Roald and Pango like this but unfortunately I kicked them out xD

It was actually less than a week ago- right after Mint moved out, I had Mira show up in my campsite. She was one of my 2 favorite villagers from my original town before my save file corrupted, but one of the main reasons I let Mint go was because I already had 7 girls in my town, and I wanted a little more parity. I couldn't pass up having her move in though, so now I'm going to have to decide if I want one of my other female villagers to move, or be content with a 2/7 or 3/7 split.

I'm in an identical situation, with 3 male villagers, and 7 ladies, plus my mayor and my second character are both female. In a way, it feels natural in a way that perfect parity does not. Yet, I am hoping that one of my female villagers moves out, preferably Alice because she was the first camper I ever invited, and it's just time, somehow.

Hopefully at that time, a Cranky will be ready to move in.

Nooo, Roald! I love that guy! You must have a heart of stone, b-b-buddy!

The second town that I ever played had Molly as the first camper. I never liked the ducks, Freckles was like, the devil to me. I wasn't all that thrilled that my first camper was a duck, so I left for a few hours. After a while I decided to go back in, maybe this one will be different I assumed, thankfully I went back in because Molly quickly became my absolute favorite villager in the entire game.

I know right?!

I hadn't had much experience with ostriches, then I ended up liking Phil and Gladys. :D

I need to meet Phil. I haven't yet seen him in my dream travels!

I generally like the duckies- something about their giant heads and tiny bodies is so charming (and so structurally unsound!). Molly was among my first 10 villagers, and I can understand why she is so beloved, and how she wins over non-duck lovers.. Her design is just charmingly simple, and she actually looks soft and feathery. <3

Speaking of ducks, it looks like Pate has landed in a nice spot. I know she doesn't get a lot of love here, and I think that's unfortunate. There's something really cute about a constantly worried looking peppy like Pate.

My second camper was Rosie. She's tier 1, so I figured I'd invite her in and give her away when she was ready to move, because I knew a lot of people like her. Nope. Once she actually moved in, she was so sweet and cute. She was the second most recent move in, but she's the closest to me out of all my villagers, even my starter ones. Now we're best friends. c:

Tangy! Having her in my town made me happier in not only ACNL, but also in real life. I'm not sure if it's her platonic death stare or the fact that she's a tangerine cat, but, good god, I love her. :o

Well, sort of... I already had plans for my town's normal villager before I met Eunice in a dream. I thought we clicked pretty well and she seemed cool. The next thing you know she shows up in my campsite and out goes all previous plans for my town's normal villager. I sat there for several minutes just oooh-and-ahhh'ing about having her move in. She's simply so lovable.

Tangy :) I already knew which villagers I wanted, but I saw Tangy in my campsite and thought, why not? I'm really enjoying having her in my town so far.

Eunice is a cutie! I'm so glad she's been part of the series for so long.

I got Stitches from my campsite. Wasn't particularly interested in him before, but when I saw him in game he made my heart melt and I had to get him. :D Now he is never leaving!

When I had a time traveling accident and lost my only smug villager, Chadder, I felt kinda bad. I had room for two more villagers in my town at that time. Penelope moved in without me asking (in the exact spot where chadder was too o.O) and then i ran to the campsite several times afterwards. In hopes of getting a smug villager a ton of random jock villagers showed up, and then little Coco popped up.
At first I thought she was creepy, and the kk dirge didn't help.
but then i talked to her and before i knew it, she was moving into my town!
now she's one of my fav villagers and now i think shes really cute!

Papi ! Papi turned up in my campsite when i'd finally got down to 9 villagers and I just had to have him, took a lot of inviting though! I took in a lot of my second town villagers from the campsite, its such a great feature.

I was camp resetting for Coco and Fauna grew on me <3
i'm still plotting her tho its been like three days and its making me irritated

I was so happy when I found my Chevre <3 She was a cutie-pie to keep! Me, being the too-excited-to-wait type, timetraveled a bit so I could talk to her like a normal villager. Sad thing is, I never usually see her where all of my other villagers are at (ex. near Re-Tail, the ponds, and the 'neighborhood', which was a default line-up of Nate, Knox, (moved out) Tex, and Harry's houses. But I do find her. I'm so happy!

Coco is very cute. I think she shares her favorite song with Lucky- it'd be kinda cute if they both lived in the same town. :)

I agree with you, estypest. There's something really gratifying about inviting a camper- one of my towns is only gaining new villagers through the campsite, and it makes the game feel so much more fun for me, taking that slow, but spontaneous approach. I look forward to meeting Papi in a dream someday!

Chevre! She's a sweetpea.

Poppy!!!
I know she's not exactly bottom tier, but at the same time I had no interest in her, untilll she showed up in my campsite. I didn't ask her to move in, but she remains the one non-dreamie villager that keeps cropping up in my acnl thoughts ^^

Blanche, looked so plain... so I didn't get her, but I got tired and while playing games with her for money I got her to move in XD and I didn't even noticed til I saw her plot, BUT SHES NEVER LEAVING
