The Struggle of PWP's

I don't know about you, but I'm having a hard time getting my villagers to suggest any Public Works Projects.
I've only gotten 3-4 since I've been playing New Leaf again.

I will trap one villager with the personality type I need to get certain PWP's, and force them to ping me, but they end up just not pinging me for PWP's.
It's really annoying and taking forever to get the PWP's.

How long did it take you to get all the PWP's unlocked that you wanted?
Are you still struggling to get certain ones unlocked?
Bonus: What is your favourite PWP?

i'm still waiting to get all the uchi PWPs i want. i was planning on adding an uchi to my town since molly moved, but normal villagers are just so cute and nan was in my campsite...

usually when i do the diving trick i makee sure my pockets are completely empty and i have no bells on me either, after a couple pings of catchphrase changes,etc. i more than likely get a PWP ping.

my favorite PWPs are the bus stop, all the illuminated PWPs, the picnic blanket, tower, log bench, and flower arch.

I do that trick too, no bells, but cram my pockets full of flowers. Then they can't offer to give me anything for free.
Agnes was my target one time and she just kept giving me shirts! Why Agnes, why?!

-Wisteria Trellis
-Log Bench
-Flower Arch

-Hot Spring

The bus stop is probably my number one favourite. It's just so cute.

On my second town, I've hardly had any suggested but then again I haven't been playing on it as much.

My favorite pwp would probably be the flower arch. It looks good in almost any town.

I know what it's like. I go after the fire pit pwp, and the only jock in town, Kid Cat, gets trapped inbetween those scary holes in the ground everyday trying to get it from a ping. But no he just wants to know if I'll pass or shoot, or want a new catchphrase after I spend five minutes floating for no reason. He hasn't even requested one of the other jock suggestions, heh.

I've all but given up on making them suggest them to me at this point.
I might just wait for them to suggest them to me instead of trying to make them.
It's almost more time consuming that way.

I think I normally ended up having a jock suggest it whenever I've had it suggested.
I know anyone can suggest it but they seem to like it the most I guess.
At least in my experience.

My town is still fairly new so I'm working on it. Fuchsia just suggested the stone tablet a couple minutes ago so that's great. My favorites are the log bench, water pump, wisteria trellis, geyser, and the windmill.

The Stone Tablet is one I want as well.
I only got one of the PWP I wanted which is the wooden bench from Butch.
They rest that were suggested to me I just don't want.

Personally, I get a ping quite frequently from villagers.. Some days I get 2 or 1 ping. Others None. Its just luck I guess ; v ;

I got the Picnic blanket & Hammock which are two I really want
I just need the bus stop and im happy

It is such a pain.
I'm ready to run around with my golden axe and persuade them to suggest what I want.
I've been trying hard but it just gets so infuriating when they don't suggest one.
And then it's difficult when you're trying to run to that certain villager and not be seen by anyone else.

I want to start developing my town more but I need to lay out the PWP and it's hard when they won't suggest the ones I want/need.
I can map out where I want to put them but it'd just be easier if they'd suggest them already haha.

Unlocked most of the PWPs. It took me about 2 months of constant pinging, but got there eventually. I just don't care about my town's development like putting down patterns and landscaping.

Maybe I was just lucky but I got literally all the PWP's there are in three months' time (four if I count April, since I had to wait for Leif to suggest the topiaries). I don't need them all, though.

Out of all the pwp's I'd like, I've only unlocked the hot spring so far.

I'd like Stonehenge, wisteria trellis, picnic blanket, flower arch and zen garden. Hopefully I'll unlock them soon!

I had reset my town and it was so nice. I kind of regret it sometimes but I like my current town too.
I have debated resetting it too but just haven't. I might end up doing it anyway at some point soon.
I don't have many PWP unlocked so it won't really matter.

I made Whitney suggest something last night but I don't remember what because it wasn't one I wanted so I just got mad at her.

That's another reason I've been holding off on getting all my dreamies so I can still get the PWP.
You might have to let one go and get them back later in your case which sucks

My favourite is the stone tablet and luckily that was the second project suggested (by Ed when he lived in my town). I also find the jocks to like suggesting the police station, I got mine from flip.
I've unlocked pretty much all the PWPs now, I just went without a peppy for ages so I'm missing the fairytale bridge but u never planned on using it anyway, I just like having them all unlocked. It's only taken 3 months since I started the diving trick to unlock all of those. Don't know if I was just lucky. When I had a lot of PWPs I needed I didn't bother with digging holes around villagers, I started doing that once I was down to the last 10 or so suggestions. Just made it easier for some reason, when I had Deirdre I had got almost everything else unlocked and I trapped her everyday for 6 days and got a suggestion each time. Let her go after that
