I'm disgusted with how they treated Korra in the final seasons.
-Taking it off TV and putting it online only
-Budget cut, which led to Book 4 having a clip show.
Among other things, but yeah, it's a shame, and Breadwinners/Sanjay & Craig is quality I expect from Cartoon Network (which I always found stupid, even as a young child).

I don't even watch Nickelodeon anymore. Even if Avatar: The Last Airbender was on Nick from 2005-2008, Nickelodeon was going downhill since Spongebob's first movie. I mean, the movie where Plankton steals Netpune's crown was good, but anything Nick related beyond that point just jumped the shark. Avatar was the only thing that saved it.
Here's a dare for you, NewLeaf13. You should watch nothing but Rugrats, Wild Thornberrys, Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold, and Rocket Power for at least one week. Spongebob is fine, but only the episodes and media that came out before 2005. iTunes and home video is better than cable.

I heard they did that because the show was "violent" and wasn't getting enough views.

Was the majority of the audience watching on online streams? The show seems to have a robust enough fanbase to keep the show afloat, so I can't think of any other explanation. :L
The show would've done gotten more views if they advertised it better. Every time I'm on nickelodeon I only see commercials for Breadwinners or another one of their brainless shows.
Hm I'm not to sure. I remember the show started off airing on Saturday mornings and then it was moved to Friday nights because it was too violent for kids (I think this happened a bit towards the end of season 1). Then soon enough it was removed from TV all together. I personally stopped watching the show after
Korra's ability to talk to the other Avatars was broken
I'm also thinking that the show was considered not to do good "viewer wise" was because most fans were expecting to find out what happened to the original Team Avatar. Atleast that's why I and a majority of my friends started watching LOK in the first place.

Basically the only good shows to watch on Nick are Korra and the new TMNT show (The CG's awful, but it's still good).
Other than that, don't watch Nickelodeon anymore.

They got Ren & Stimpy writers starting from Season 4......and half of the gross stuff they do in Ren & Stimpy is actually somewhat tammed compared to what they're doing in Spongebob.

I don't even consider watching Nickelodeon anymore. I became less interested in Spongebob after the first movie, then I just stopped caring when they aired new episodes. Fairly Odd Parents was watchable but then I stopped watching when they added Poof. ATLA, LOK, and Danny Phantom were the only cartoons that made me want to watch Nickelodeon.
I was really saddened when Korra became online only, but it didn't stop me from watching it. I wanted to watch it to the very end.
But yeah, Nickelodeon is just not good anymore.

It just goes to show that Spongebob is getting stale...like really really stale.

Fairy Oddparents did went downhill when they added Poof, but it ultimately killed the show for me when they added in the annoying dog...
they need to make a separate channel like called "throwback" lmao idk but they need to make a channel where they have all of the old shows from cartoon network, disney channel, + nickelodeon where they just play all of the old shows (johnny bravo, chowder, camp lazlo, fairly odd parents, drake and josh, powerpuff girls, hannah montana, zack and cody, etc) like yes PLEASE

Nickelodeon did try and did this with Nicktoons and the "All-That 90's" block on Teen Nick.
But Nicktoons barley airs any classic Nicktoons (Not to mention, most of their original programs suck...like seriously...except Dragon Ball Z Kai.), and All That 90's is at midnight, and they stopped doing it.
But yeah, this channel needs to exists...like NOW..
do they still air the 90's are all that on teen nick? i'd check but i'm too lazy to go to a television
I could not agree more. I am so sad with the direction things are going in with television in general, but especially with TV shows that can have an impact on a younger audience. Nick was great in the 90s with shows like Rocket Power, Hey Arnold, etc. They were fun, but also taught good lessons and everyone could connect to them. Now, I find that TV is very superficial and is just contributing bad values to society.
they're trying to appeal to the new generations of children, these new shows are going to be someone's favorite shows and if we don't like them, who really cares? Remote is right there. Ratings. That's all they care about. It's like this: "darn kids and their rap music and HIPPITY-HOP! Why, in my day... (ramble)!" that's basically what this sounds like to me.
